FRIENDS AND ENEMIES

Hugo Chavez, Marxist dictator of Venezuela, good friend of Sean Penn, admired by President Post-Modern and darling of the left, has just arrested and detained the last independent journalist in HIS country for daring to use un-approved speech.

Hugo Chavez had Guillermo Zuloaga, president of Globovision Television, arrested for allegedly making offensive comments about Chavez... via Hot Air)

Here that would be called a hate crime. As you know, criticizing anything that Our Glorious Leader says or does is racist. We have been told that again and again from Washington and from the government run MSM.

Criticizing the regime is a hate crime.

Hate crimes are illegal.

Do you see where this is going?

You don't need a crystal ball to see our future.

Meanwhile, The One has snubbed and insulted one of our few strong and dedicated allies, Israel.

For a head of government to visit the White House and not pose for photographers is rare. For a key ally to be left to his own devices while the President withdraws to have dinner in private was, until this week, unheard of. Yet that is how Binyamin Netanyahu was treated by President Obama on Tuesday night (Times Online)

After not getting him to stop building houses in the capitol of his own nation, The One told him, well, if you change your mind, lemme know. I'm going to have dinner.

Perhaps if he ran a terrorist state or was a dictator he would have been treated a little better.

There is a pattern. Israel, Britain, any traditional, strong allies are insulted and snubbed.

But he bows to the King of Saudi Arabia and gets kissy face with Chavez.

What else would you expect him to do? Like seeks like.
