EXCELLENT.
Thus far in 2009, 40% of Americans interviewed in national Gallup Poll surveys describe their political views as conservative, 35% as moderate, and 21% as liberal. This represents a slight increase for conservatism in the U.S. since 2008, returning it to a level last seen in 2004. The 21% calling themselves liberal is in line with findings throughout this decade, but is up from the 1990s.Hope not chope. And for real. Randall Hoven has a message for the Republican Party:
(Jammie Wearing Fool)
Remember this the next time some Colin Powell tells you we should embrace the "fact" that most people want higher taxes, and the next time someone says that being democrat-lite is the only way forward.Dear Republican Party:Here is how you do it: get 40% of the vote by being genuinely conservative, without apology. Then go after one third of the "moderates" (thus getting another 12% of the vote, for a 52% majority) by pushing responsibility, competence and integrity. Heck, maybe you'll get half the moderates, for a total of 58%, almost what Reagan got in 1984.That is, simply be the party of honest, competent and conservative government. That shouldn't be too hard, should it?
Be true. Be honest. Be Victorious.
