Do you remember the "Jena 6" that all the race hustlers were crowding around, whinning that it was unfair to be so mean to 6 black guys who, unprovoked, beat the living hell out of a white guy?
Because he was white.
That's not racism, and not even really that big a deal, hence that sentence:

You could get more severe treatment for smoking a damn joint, but as we know, racism is cool now- as long as its directed toward a race on the approved list.
