Dinesh D'Souza, from India, got me started. His book, "What's So Great About America" opened up a whole new world for me.

And similarly, Paul Ibrahim, who came here with no English from Lebanon, has the sense that many other American's lack.

The next time you hear the line about poor, oppressed minorities being kept down by racist, hateful Amerikkka, finally being set free by The One, you might want to check this very personal article of his: Even Before Obama, I Already Knew That I Could.

If anyone knows, he does.

Men like him make me proud of what was once our nation.

Read it- rings true to me. Seriously beautiful article on the positive effects of gun ownership on character.

But in other life and death news today- the net is all abuzz with the man killed in the Wal-mart shopping stampede. Predictably, the left is foaming at the mouth (again), saying: "See! That's what capitalism does to people! It's eeeevil!." Well I'm very tired...and its not from the tryptophan in all the turkey I ate. It's from hearing the broken greatest fits record from TheHippy Nutbag Love Chorus, stuck on replay for so many decades. Playing over...and over....

Know what? What causes people to act like animals in a feeding frenzy is the indoctrination and enforcement of narcissism and selfishness that the "freedom loving" hippies have brought us, not Capitalism. Thinking of other people only makes you feel bad about your need to keep up your blissfull buzz. Who needs the guilt?

You don't strive to follow the good anymore. Unreachable goals only make you feel bad! You're a hypocrite if you aim for the stars and don't ever end up holding them in the palm of your hand.
Besides, good and bad is such a phony, old-fashioned distinction- 'least according the the well-educated that are smarter than y'all dumb rednecks.

No, now you follow "your bliss." And if your bliss needs that great deal down at the Wal-mart there, the haters just better get outa yer way! You deserve it! How dare anyone tear down your self-esteem! Instead of having a code to follow, fine tuned over a couple thousand years and embedded in our culture (ie. Christianity), we throw all that out the window (or through the window at Wal-mart) and follow the code of "whatever it takes to make me feeeel that blissful buzz, maaan!" Feeling good is what good is.

People of this nation once had the jelly of Christianity to go with the peanut butter of Capitalism and it worked- imperfectly of course, since they system is made of, you know, actual human beings, but it worked. More and more I'm noticing their interdependence.

But no more samich now. Nope. We just take whatever pill in necessary to "follow our bliss,"
and everyone else can just kiss our damn ass.

Nice article at The Sydney Morning Herald about global warming. It talks about a new, exhaustive book trashing the theory that The Goracle declared as fact with the debate "over," and growing scepticism. Now there are scientists warning of global cooling, like they did in the 70's, before it was global cooling. Hey! It's a theory cycle, just like the weather cycle! Cool. Of course the leaders of The Goracle's religion are pulling out all the stops to discredit unbelievers:

As the Czech President, Vaclav Klaus, an economist, anti-totalitarian and climate change sceptic, prepares to take up the rotating presidency of the European Union next year, climate alarmists are doing their best to traduce him.

The New York Times opened a profile of Klaus, 67, this week with a quote from a 1980s communist secret agent's report, claiming he behaves like a "rejected genius", and asserts there is "palpable fear" he will "embarrass" the EU.

But the real fear driving climate alarmists wild is that a more rational approach to the fundamentalist religion of global warming may be in the ascendancy - whether in the parliamentary offices of the world's largest trading bloc or in the living rooms of Blacktown.

Just like I used to do- if you can't win an argument you call names, yell or run away. And the left can NEVER seem to win an argument. It's all about their feeeeeelings, who need rationality? They're too smart for that!

From Kender's Musings:

You have your freedom

You have your freedom says Uncle Sam
to do as you are told
From where to drive to where to park
and how you can grow old
We regulate the food you eat
how you can live and die
And go to school and congregate,
the waters and the sky
We have the best in mind for you
we know what's good in life
The huddled masses have no clue
so let us end your strife
We'll hand out things like free health care,
education and job training
We'll even give out umber-ella's
for days that it is raining
We know the things we legislate
aren't in the constitution
But all our plans to keep you well
will soon come to fruition
When BHO is sitting in
the Not so White House Chair
He'll mandate things that take away
those pesky little layers
Of freedom that you still possess
to do things as you please
And we will own your unwashed ass
from birth to death you see
We hate to do it that's for sure
it's lot of work for us
To ride in limo's telling you
to just go ride the bus
But you must listen to our rules
our laws and edicts too
Our regulations and the drivel
which we always spew
We know what's best so just shut up
and go with our big plan
To give you everything you need
from our abundant land
The taxes that you pay today
will feed you on the morrow
You'll feel a great relief you see
and not one bit of sorrow
Freedom's over rated now
so do us all a favor
Quit complaining that we steal
the fruits of all your labor
If we don't take away the cash
you work so hard to get
How can we take care of all
the hordes of lazy shits
Who vote for us and sit around
Collecting welfare money
We think your stingy attitude
is not one damned bit funny
So vote for us at election time
we know just where it's at
We are freedoms worst nightmare
we are the democrats

This is killin' me. There is a street personality here in Columbus known to anyone that has been in the campus area. He's known as "Help is on the Way", as that is his chant as he panhandles a fortune from naive college students every day. "Help is on the way!" he says, over and over.

Well that's what The One said in his latest sermon. Seems he's peein' himself since he doesn't know enough to fight his way out of a wet paper bag, so he's packing his house with Clinton people that have actual experience and is having Volcker head his economic team. Thank God for that (it IS Thanksgiving, after all).

So what is his biggest concern now? Why its that this might take some shine off his glowing halo! From the AP article:

"What we are going to do is combine experience with fresh thinking," he said. "But understand where the vision for change comes from. First and foremost, it comes from me."

From me. Meeeeeeeee! It's all about meeeeeee!

I'm certainly glad we got that cleared up! I'd be lost without knowing who the hell to worship! And really, if it weren't all about him, how exactly would he be modern and innovative? Focusing on the privilege of service and spreading credit around to others instead of reflexively admiring one's self in the mirror, well, that would be positively old-fashioned and we can't have that! We need change! What a dick.

Some exerpts from a couple of posts at American Thinker, well worth reading in their entirities:

As we allow our Country to be downgraded like some worthless stock in meltdown mode, it might behoove us to just take a few moments glancing back at what we will be leaving behind. No Nation has ever been perfect; none ever will be. But destroying the best one to date without a tested plan for a replacement is nothing more than the work of fools. (read it all here)

Our hypnotic fixation on changing our world to make it Heaven is bound to lead not to the feeding of our real needs but rather to temporary fix of a heroin addict. That is why despots, even despots with some good intentions initially, degrade so quickly into monstrosities: self-made gods. Every monster of the last century which gave birth to an ugly new state -- Mussolini, Lenin, Mao, Hitler, Castro -- promised above all action, change, progress. As we watch Obama seek to change America, we would do well to remember that change, like mutation, is most often hideous and harmful. Life is imperfection -- natural and normal. Our desperate campaign to make life perfect makes life ghastly.

What we need instead of change is gratitude. The simple blessing of being born in America is something that most people on this planet would give much to possess. The ordinary freedom which was the object of the Pilgrims is something purchased by those before us at great cost and which is frittered away by us with gaping indifference. The specialness of our very souls, made in the image of a loving God, transcends all the trite amusements we make.

We owe thanks to those who gave (and who are giving) their lives so that we may be free. We owe thanks to those before us who cared more for goodness than for goods. We owe thanks, always, for a Blessed Creator who blesses us still. There is no virtue in progressing from freedom or benefit in changing our moral principles. Change and progress are callous, soulless, indifferent processes. Let us instead embrace what is pure, noble, and timeless. Let us give thanks for what lasts. (read it all here)

Check the latest post at TNOYF to learn of the 11 myths of Thanksgiving and find out why you are such a sick, repressive bastard! lol.

As anyone knows that has read anything outside of the MSM about Guantanamo, the terrorist holding center is practically Club Med. The prisoners throw piss and spit at soldiers, the soldiers must take it. They get special meals, top notch medical treatment and live better there than they do at home. From Michelle Malkin:
Life is hard for a Guantanamo Bay detainee. The deprivation is unspeakable. Their brains have not been “stimulated” enough, according to the facility’s “cultural advisor.” Which is why this Thanksgiving, America is drawing up plans to provide the 250 or so suspected jihadists at the “notoriously Spartan” detention camp with basic sustenance including movie nights, art classes, English language lessons, and “Game Boy-like” electronic devices, according to the Miami Herald.

After you come back from getting that tissue to dry your tears, check this story of one, poor, oppressed "freedom fighter," from Ann Coulter:

After being captured fighting with Taliban forces against Americans in 2001, Abdullah Massoud was sent to Guantanamo, where the one-legged terrorist was fitted with a special prosthetic leg, at a cost of $50,000-$75,000 to the U.S. taxpayer. Under the Americans With Disabilities Act, Massoud would now be able to park his car bomb in a handicapped parking space!

No, you didn't read that wrong, because the VA won't pay for your new glasses. I said $75,000. I would have gone with hanging at sunrise, but what do I know?

Upon his release in March 2004, Massoud hippity-hopped back to Afghanistan and quickly resumed his war against the U.S. Aided by his new artificial leg, just months later, in October 2004, Massoud masterminded the kidnapping of two Chinese engineers in Pakistan working on the Gomal Zam Dam project.

This proved, to me at least, that people with disabilities can do anything they put their minds to. Way to go, you plucky extremist!

People have said to me, how can a guy that likes guys work with social conservatives and evangelicals that believe that their existence is a sin? I have always maintained that my politics should support the greatest good for the greatest number of people, not merely my own particular issues. It's E Pluribus Unum, not the other way around. GayPatriot has a posting that hits this nail on the head:
Repeating commentshe made on another site about moderates attempting to dismiss religious conservatives within the Republican Party, Bill_Dalasio offers:

my main concern in politics is maintaining my freedom. And, in practical, definable terms, the daily threats to my liberty are not being pushed by religious conservatives. It wasn’t religious conservatives who’ve told me I’m breaking the law if I light up in a bar. It wasn’t religious conservatives who’ve forbidden me from buying food made with trans fats. It wasn’t religious conservatives who pushed speech codes on our college campuses and dictate hate crimes laws. It wasn’t religious conservatives who’ve made it a bureaucratic journey to buy a gun to protect my home and family. It isn’t religious conservatives I see trying to revive the fairness doctrine to specifically silence their political opposition. It wasn’t religious conservatives to gave us “campaign finance reform”. It isn’t the religious conservatives who have told me that I have to separate my trash, even to the point of removing individual trashcans in my office building.

Put bluntly, I can’t help but feel I’m being sold a bill of goods here. Progressives, with the full consent of moderates,…chip away consistently and unabashedly at my freedom. All the while, telling me how scared I should be of the religious conservative bogeyman hiding under the bed. Do I think there’s some religious conservatives who go over the top? Sure. But, marginalizing the religious conservatives en masse is a surefire way to empower just those religious conservatives who do go over the top. Moreover, I’m getting a little more than tired of being told to be scared about the threat to my liberty posed by my allies by people whose own behavior tells me they want nothing more than to restrict my freedom.

Emphasis added.

The issue, my friends, is freedom. This guy gets it.

Let me repeat, I, as a gay man, have no problem working in a political coalition with social conservatives so long as they don’t force me to promote legislation restricting freedom nor demand I enter some kind of ministry to “cure” me of my longings for affection with my own gender. Leave these people alone to practice their faith as they believe Scripture dictates. And leave me alone to interpret the same Scripture (or at least the first two-thirds thereof) in my own way.

And leave those who don’t hold to that Scripture free as well to live their lives as they see fit.

The issue is freedom. And in this age of increasing government control, we need focus on defending it.

I would much rather live in a free country than be a slave to the socialist nanny-state. I am an adult and I am capable of making my own decisions. What is frightening is that so many voted for slavery this last election.

I don't need some arrogant, black-rimmed glasses wearing, condescending dickhead with an English degree controlling every move I make down to how many freaking sheets of toilet paper I can use to wipe my own damn ass.

It's ironic, but brilliant that the left constantly puts up their big, scary image of the "nazi" right when in fact, their overriding motivations continually move us towards the institution of a totalitarian state. I don't think many of them even realize this- they just see themselves as enlightened saviors try to "help people" too stupid to help themselves. Again, if you haven't read it, Jonah Goldberg's "Liberal Fascism" is essential.

It needed a new sign. They got together, raised the money and got one. Now they're in trouble- the state says they aren't allowed to do that. Those evil, oppressive parents! Helping! To THINK!

The story his here, at Roger's Rules.

Here's the thing- you want to give your freedom to the state, you want the state to take care of everything for you- you know what you get? SLAVERY.

He concludes:

But such autonomy is the one thing these miniature despots can’t abide. They don’t want people to be independent. They don’t want local communities to take care of their own needs. They want to meddle. They want to be the sole source of sustenance and labor–and they want to do it, of course, on their own terms, enforcing their own requirements for who gets to work, when, under what conditions, and how much they are paid. This, as Friedrich Hayek observed, is the road to serfdom. As Hayek put it in the great book of that title, “economic control is not merely the control of a sector of human life . . . ; it is the control of the means for all our ends. And whoever has sole control of the means must also determine which ends are to be served, which values are to be rated higher and which lower–in short, what men should believe and strive for.” It is, in short, a form of tyranny.

Ms Helmuth got the message. She called an IDOL official about the case of the donated sign: “Now you’re telling me anything that was donated, I would have to pay prevailing wage on it? Then why would I want to donate anything?” Why, indeed.

Meanwhile, President-elect Obama is waiting in the wings with his plans for various “mandatory volunteer” programs. Depressing prospect, what?

Pretty in Mink is a calendar of beautiful Republican woman wearing (gasp!) fur.

OUTRAGE! The Village Voice:
We're just surprised they didn't show the ladies beating vagrants to death with pearl-handled canes.
Compare with the calendar above, of Liberal women (via Moonbattery).

Let the nut-bells ring!

at Florida Gulf Coast University:

FGCU administration has banned all holiday decorations from common spaces on campus and canceled a popular greeting card design contest, which is being replaced by an ugly sweater competition. In Griffin Hall, the university's giving tree for needy preschoolers has been transformed into a "giving garden."

In kindergarten:
For decades, Claremont kindergartners have celebrated Thanksgiving by dressing up as pilgrims and Native Americans and sharing a feast... "It's demeaning," Michelle Raheja, the mother of a kindergartner at Condit Elementary School, wrote to her daughter's teacher.... she met with teachers and administrators in hopes that the district could hold a public forum to discuss alternatives that celebrate thankfulness without "dehumanizing" her daughter's ancestry.
No Raheja, demeaning is calling you a fascist towl-headed bitch. See the difference?

Giving gifts to those less fortunate:

Life is hard for a Guantanamo Bay detainee. The deprivation is unspeakable. Their brains have not been “stimulated” enough, according to the facility’s “cultural advisor.” Which is why this Thanksgiving, America is drawing up plans to provide the 250 or so suspected jihadists at the “notoriously Spartan” detention camp with basic sustenance including movie nights, art classes, English language lessons, and “Game Boy-like” electronic devices, according to the Miami Herald. (via Michelle Malkin)

I'll be posting more holiday cheer as I stumble on the detritus! Festive!

Just amazing. SCREW free speech! on new UN legislation:

"It provides international cover for domestic anti-blasphemy laws, and there are a number of people who are in prison today because they have been accused of committing blasphemy," said Bennett Graham, international program director with the Becket Fund, a think tank aimed at promoting religious liberty.

"Those arrests are made legitimate by the UN body's (effective) stamp of approval."

Passage of the resolution is part of a 10-year action plan the 57-state Organization of Islamic Conference launched in 2005 to ensure "renaissance" of the "Muslim Ummah" or community.

"Renaissance" huh? Well of course. Total world domination. Sharia law is WORLD law- that's the goal. And think it can't happen here? Check the book Stealth Jihad by Islamic Scholar Robert Spencer. They have figured out ( and really, an IDIOT could figure out) how to use the left's BS against them. All they have to do is cry "discrimination." Not being allowed to tell others what they can do and how they want to live in their own country and culture is depriving Muslims of their "rights." It is working out fine for them. They've been a lot more successful in England than here, but with Teleprompter Jesus set to come into office, that will certainly change.

The West continues to commit suicide and what do we get? A collective yawn.

250 Bad Guys ambush 30 Marines in Afghanistan.

How do you think it turned out? Check it out.

Meanwhile, you can't find the bad news for all the good news out of Iraq. Our brave men and women stuck to it despite daily attacks and constant work to undermine their mission by the left.
They had to fight both terrorists and some of their own citizens and they still won. Awesome.
Michael Yon has a lot of it posted.

Well worth reading! These should not seem so stunningly brilliant, they should be regular 'ol clear sighted vision of the world we live in. But seein' as vision is about as clear as the muck pumped out by a honey-dipper anymore, check out the post at Pajama's Media.

Robert Stacy McCain makes some excellent points in The American Spectator:

...Obama succeeded by capitalizing on the kind of boundless Hope that prompted a Florida woman, Peggy Joseph, to her memorable declaration after a late-October campaign rally: "I won't have to worry about putting gas in my car; I won't have to worry about paying my mortgage. You know, if I help him, he's gonna help me."

Such irrational expectations are inevitably followed by disillusionment. No prediction of what the next four years might bring is safer than this: The yawning gap between Hope and reality will produce a bumper crop of ex-Democrats.

Exactly how soon will the disappointments become sufficient to begin turning former believers into ex-Democrats? It's hard to tell. But it is nonetheless certain that many who voted for Obama will either stay home on Election Day 2010 or vote Republican, and still more will defect by 2012. And unless Obama starts making Peggy Joseph's mortgage and car payments, even she may eventually abandon Hope.

Starry-eyed worshippers are in for a big 'ol buffet of reality samich!

Another good thing, from NYDailyNews:

Only 22% of voters this year consider themselves "liberal" while 34% call themselves "conservative," numbers roughly unchanged from four years ago. And as Doug Schoen pointed out in this space, it was moderates, not liberals, who played the decisive role in electing Barack Obama President.

It is NOT yet a Moonbat nation. Sometimes I think it is, but that is because of where I live. It's like some demonic Palmolive Liquid, and I'm SOAKING in it!

From Moonbattery:

Che Guevara, the communist executioner who planned terrorist attacks against the citizens of New York...courtesy of the Public Art Fund, the City of New York, the NEA, and the New York Council for the Arts.

Brings to mind the photos of the Obama campaign office with a poster of him in the background. He has become the "cool" hero of the left. Shirts with his image are hot items at Urban Outfitters with those who are smarter than you.

Exerpts for a great Thomas Sowell piece:

Among the many new "rights" being conjured out of thin air, a new one seems to be a "right" to win.

Americans have long had the right to put their candidates and their ideas to a vote. Now there seems to be a sense that your rights have been trampled on if you don't win.

He goes on about the violence of the prop 8 protesters.

While demanding tolerance from others, gay activists apparently feel no need to show any themselves.

How did we get to this kind of situation?

With all the various groups who act as if they have a right to win, we got to the present situation over the years, going back to the 1960s, where the idea started gaining acceptance that people who felt aggrieved don't have to follow the rules or even the law.

"No justice, no peace!" was a slogan that found resonance.

Like so many slogans, it sounds good if you don't stop and think-- and awful if you do.

Almost by definition, everybody thinks their cause is just. Does that mean that nobody has to obey the rules? That is called anarchy.

Nobody is in favor of anarchy. But some people want everybody else to obey the rules, while they don't have to.

This is what was asked after 9-11. The left answered with a litany of our eeeevil eeeeevil sins and then said that we deserved it. Even the Rev. Wright, Obamessiah's friend and spiritual mentor said it was "chickens coming home to roost". Well now we have an insane leftist for President. Terrorist's should be happy, right?

In a propaganda salvo on Wednesday, Osama bin Laden's senior deputy condemned Mr Obama as a "house Negro" doing the bidding of white masters.

Ayman al-Zawahiri called him "the direct opposite of honourable black Americans" such as Malcolm X. (Sydney Morning Herald)

What of your arguments now, Moonbats? Keeping your insane delusions is getting harder, isn't it?

Oh and can you believe? Being racist is ok if you're attacking a republican, but it's not ok if you're attacking a democrat. Don't believe me? Do you need to be "re-educated"? Listen to the good Reverend Sharpton (from Gateway Pundit):

Here he is talking about Rice and Powell being called "house negros"

And here he is talking about The Obamessiah being called a "house negro"

See the difference? No? Excuse me while I call your local party chair.... we need to help you!

(more The People's Cube goodness)

This video has been going around the net for a while, I might as well jump on the bandwagon. Of course anyone can find enough idiots to do this, but looking at the Zogby poll of Obama voters...well.... I'm not sure they are actually stupid, its just that the facts and issues were of no importance to those who were looking for a personal savior, not a president. Wasn't a big deal to the followers of Jim Jones' People's Temple either.

512 Obama Voters 11/13/08-11/15/08 MOE +/- 4.4 points

97.1% High School Graduate or higher, 55% College Graduates

Results to 12 simple Multiple Choice Questions

57.4% could NOT correctly say which party controls congress (50/50 shot just by guessing)

71.8% could NOT correctly say Joe Biden quit a previous campaign because of plagiarism (25% chance by guessing)

82.6% could NOT correctly say that Barack Obama won his first election by getting opponents kicked off the ballot (25% chance by guessing)

88.4% could NOT correctly say that Obama said his policies would likely bankrupt the coal industry and make energy rates skyrocket (25% chance by guessing)

56.1% could NOT correctly say Obama started his political career at the home of two former members of the Weather Underground (25% chance by guessing).

And yet.....

Only 13.7% failed to identify Sarah Palin as the person on which their party spent $150,000 in clothes

Only 6.2% failed to identify Palin as the one with a pregnant teenage daughter

And 86.9 % thought that Palin said that she could see Russia from her "house," even though that was Tina Fey who said that!!

Only 2.4% got at least 11 correct.

Only .5% got all of them correct. (And we "gave" one answer that was technically not Palin, but actually Tina Fey)

" His confident smile and kind eyes are an inspiration to us all"

(hilareous rant at Six Meat Buffet)

It isn't just their phony "I support the troops, not the war" bullshit. It's that they say we can be socialist and still be America. Great post on this at Dr. Melissa Clouthier. It cites a well known authority on this issue:
More from the article, by Duane Lester:

Socialism does not fit into America in any way, shape or form. Socialism is the government sanctioned genocide of the one minority not protected by liberalism: the individual. There is no individual in the collective. You do not have property, the collective does. You don’t get rewarded for your hard work, you get what the collective thinks you need. You don’t get to achieve, as there can be no one who stands out in the collective.

Winston Churchill said:

…a socialist policy is abhorrent to the British ideas of freedom. Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the object worship of the state. It will prescribe for every one where they are to work, what they are to work at, where they may go and what they may say.

Thomas Jefferson:

"To take from one because it is thought that his own industry and that of his father's has acquired too much, in order to spare to others, who, or whose fathers have not exercised equal industry and skill, is to violate arbitrarily the first principle of association-'the guarantee to every one of a free exercise of his industry and the fruits acquired by it.' "

From Protein Wisdom:
“New AG Appointee Advocated To Stifle Speech On Web”:
The court has really struck down every government effort to try to regulate it. We tried with regard to pornography. It is gonna be a difficult thing, but it seems to me that if we can come up with reasonable restrictions, reasonable regulations in how people interact on the Internet, that is something that the Supreme Court and the courts ought to favorably look at. - May 28, 1999 NPR Morning Edition

[my emphasis]

Given Holder’s advocacy for “Hate Crimes” legislation, one is left to ponder just what might come to count as a “reasonable” restriction or regulation on “how people interact.”

If you thought the creepy cult of personality business might level off a little after the Obamanation won the election, think again. Like Stalin and Mao, it's just ratcheting up. This will make your blood run cold, from NewsBusters:

In an odd, non-sequitur of a segment, co-host Diane Sawyer kicked off the 8:30 hour of Friday's "Good Morning America" by reading aloud from an essay that President-elect Barack Obama wrote for the current issue of Time magazine. Stopping the show cold for a minute and 22 seconds, she solemnly began, "There was something that made us all stop and think. And you know, it's 60 days now. 60 days until the inauguration of a new president."

Then, Sawyer gravely announced that Obama had, in fact, written an essay: "And we saw that President-elect Obama has a favorite photograph, which he looks at. And here are the words that he wrote in Time magazine. An essay." To music that seemed reminiscent of the Ken Burns "Civil War" documentary, with images of Lincoln appearing on screen, the GMA host recited the words of the President-elect's Time essay.

People talk of European-style socialism with The Lightbringer in office. Bad, yes, but not compared to cult-of-personality style Marxism.

(image from The People's Cube)

There is a lot of speculation that The One is hopeful that the economy gets much, much worse. Spectulation? It has been the M.O. of the left for decades to either use a crisis (eg. WWI) or invent one (eg. global cooling, then global warming) to push policies that the public would otherwise never accept. Duh. Further, the colapse of Capitalism is the dream of every Marxist. Need I go on?

So that make this quote from Obitler's Rahmmel (Rahm Emanuel) completely unsurprising. From NewsBusters:

"You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before."

Oh looky looky! The Obamunist "sat down" with John McCain! See! He's "reaching across the aisle." Well, as far as appearance sake. In terms of action he's packing his staff with the far (now mainstream) left. From Moonbattery:

In a victory for environmentalists, Rep. Henry Waxman of Los Angeles ousted John Dingell, the longest-serving member of Congress, as chairman of the House committee that handles all energy, climate change and health care legislation.

The fact that global warming is not real makes no difference to Henry Waxman. To get an idea of how reasonable the guy is, consider that he helped Code Pink funnel $600,000 to the terrorists fighting our troops in Fallujah.

Fatal car crashes must often produce moments like this — instants that seem to stretch on forever as your stomach sinks and you realize that it's really going to happen: your car is really going off the bridge into the icy river far below. Barack Obama really has been elected, and a Congress controlled by unhinged leftists will back to the hilt his plans to destroy America's economy so that socialism can be imposed.

And this crap has my mind in free-fall:

Moonbattery, quoting IBD:

Bruce Marks, founder of the leftist Neighborhood Assistance Corp. of America, makes a good living shaking down banks for loans to deadbeat borrowers that he thinks are entitled to homes.
Last month, he and about 100 urban protesters stormed Fannie Mae's headquarters, demanding it stop foreclosures on subprime houses — the same homes his group pressured Fannie to fund.
As usual, the bullying tactics worked: Fannie Mae is now reviewing every foreclosure, while increasing the number of mortgages it restructures by lowering interest rates and extending loan terms to make payments more affordable.
Marks believes that expecting The Oppressed to have good credit or make a down payment before receiving a mortgage loan is "patronizing and racist." According to moonbat ideology, it is everyone's right to have the home they want at someone else's expense.

Even before The One ascends to the White House, the government is already infested with leftists who share Marks's viewpoint:

Congress' banking committee chiefs, Sen. Chris Dodd and Rep. Barney Frank, are also demanding banks stop foreclosures. And guess who they've invited to testify about that? That's right: Marks
Do you REALLY think The Obamessiah is going to make things better? I always thought that the survivalist mentality was a little dramatic and off the wall, but now? Might be a good idea to stock up on canned goods and ammo.

From Hillbilly White Trash:

In the long term historians will be very kind to George W Bush. When Islamists brought their war against the West and its ideals of human freedom and dignity to our doorstep he responded forcefully and with courage. He took the war to the enemies homeland and thereby transformed the battleground in the current world war from our cities to theirs. By doing this he has kept the American homeland safe for the past seven years and by making the primary actors against the terrorists our military rather than our law enforcement agencies he has seen to the killing of tens of thousands of our enemies rather than the capture and jailing of at most a few hundred.

President Bush has done this despite the fact that the public turned against him and the war. When it could have doubled his job approval numbers by cutting and running from Iraq he held to his course because he knew it to be the right course.

However for those of us living in the short and mid term we have to face the fact that despite Mr. Bush's steadfastness on the war (for which we do owe him our thanks) in most other ways he has been a disaster. And Miss Ann has hit the nail on the head as to why.

During a time when the other party has turned the political process into a no-holds-barred knife fight George W Bush walked into the arena essentially unarmed.

Mr. Bush reached across the partisan divide to extend a hand of friendship to the Democrats and they repaid him by breaking his arm and he was apparently too dull to even feel the pain.

George W Bush failed to recognize that the Democrat party, or at least its left-wing, is just as much this nation's enemy as al Qaeda (even if they use legislation rather than bombs to do their damage) and act accordingly.

No kidding. Its not pleasant to have to realize that half this country hates itself, but that is the way it is. How do you "dialogue" with suicidal nutjobs?

I had a discussion with a friend on election night about some of this stuff. Great posting at Gonzo's Bar and Go-go Grill that is worth a full read. Some of his ideas? Stop supporting liberal donating business. This has a double effect of saving you money while screwing those that screwed you. He points out that political donation records are available to the public. I won't have to check that for many businesses in my neighborhood that turned their stores into Obama Campaign HQ's.

Further, don't give a dime to charity. Tell them that your money is going to Obama to help people. And personally, I'm going to do all that I can to be nothing but dead weight on the economy. It's what people voted for. I'm going to go with the flow and give it to them. Will it hurt me as well? Yes, but its pain worth withstanding since it is the only thing that just might wake up the sleepwalking hordes of Obama Zombies and rescue America from the brink of death.

From Gonzo:

I’d be more blunt to lefty friends. I’ve already told a couple, “Hey - Bambi promised some Gestapo - so when do you turn me in for counter-revolutionary activities?” Harden yourself up. Socialist State-worshippers are not and cannot really be your friend. I’ve watched it happen to more than one person who had government goons turn up on their doorstep, and their “friends” give the excuse “I was just concerrrrrrrrrrrrrned……”

Whatever. Yor right wing friends will sit you down and tell you straight. Your left wing friends will call a ****ing social worker. Which one do you want? And seriously - who can you count on? I mean really count on?

Corporations …

Here’s what I did.

I went through Wal-mart the other day, and the checkout woman had an Obama button. So I went from the checkout - after I had paid - straight to customer service, and demanded a refund. Because I was offended by the politicizing and the attitude.

Note - they had my money. And now they had to give it back. This hurts them. So they wanted to know how to make it right. Okay. Very simple, an apology. So the Manager on Duty started to apologize.

No, not you. You didn’t offend me.

Well, on behalf of Wal-mart, we strive to (Boilerplate.).

No, ma’am. Wal-mart did not offend me. Your employee did. I want an apology from her, and I don’t want to have to enter a hostile political environment to shop, so I’d suggest the button come off.

Fine. My refund please? I need to get to Kroger.

Next thing I knew the CSS was oer talking to the cashier - who walked out! Quit.

So, since Wal-mart tried to rectify it, I took my merchandise home....

...all done in a level tone of voice, without one profanity. Just firmness. Your employee offended me, and I want my money back. Back either me - your customer - or your lackey. If the latter, I want my $268. For a part-timer, that’s a week’s wage. Back her, and they essentially double her pay for a week.
God is that beautiful.

The man Germany tagged for moderate muslim outreach has sparked outrage instead, but publishing a paper suggesting Mohammed may have never existed. Seems kinda unlikely to me.
When asked about the hate coming his way, he said:

Most Western scientists turn down such an hypotheses out of respect for Islam or because they are afraid of the reactions of their Muslim friends or because they think it is speculative nonsense.

The word “respect” sounds wonderful but it is completely inappropriate here because one really refers to the opposite. Whoever thinks that Muslims can’t deal with facts puts Muslims on the same level as small children who can’t think and decide for themselves and whose illusions of Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny one doesn’t want to destroy.

Whoever really bases his thoughts on the equality of all human beings must expect the same intellectual performance. Really treating Muslims with respect would imply that they are strong enough to deal with their religion on the basis of our modern level of knowledge. “Islamophobes” think we Muslims are barbarians, the “kind-hearted” take us for “noble savages”… The result is the same: Muslims are seen as different from the rest of the world — they either belong in a “petting zoo” or in cages for wild animals, but by all means they belong in a zoo.

Get ready comrade! The revolution is coming! Rommel, I mean a Rahm Emanuel:

I’m challenging you today, we’re going to have to do big, serious things,’ Rahm Emanuel said, speaking to The Wall Street Journal’s CEO Council, a conference convened to elicit corporate opinion on the challenges facing the new president…

He stressed that the new administration would ‘throw long and deep,’ taking advantage of the economic crisis to push wholesale changes in health care, taxes, financial re-regulation and energy. (Hot Air)

The Marxist we put in power is having wet dreams over this crisis! America may still be breathing but he's feeling pretty confidant that she won't be able to put up much of a fight when he crushes out her last little bit of life.

Yes, I said, "those people." I am sickened and embarrassed by the degenerate, hateful lowlifes protesting Prop 8 in California. Now I know how decent Muslim people feel watching hordes of murderous scumbags speak in their name. It sucks. But what can I do? All I can think is to speak out against it and disassociate myself from anyone that thinks that this is stuff is justified. Since that includes the most of the crowd at the most of gay bars, I suppose I've already done that. More or less. Maybe I should restate that- the crowd in the bars are either supportive or indifferent. To me that's just as bad. What was the AIDS rallying cry? Oh yeah, "silence equals death." Maybe its time to reapply it. Is there a national organization that can counter this madness? Log Cabin doesn't seem to be saying much. They should be aggressively getting into the news to denounce this, but I sure don't hear much. Wouldn't want to offend anyone.....

One reason it's so difficult to organize a conservative voice in the "gay community" (as much as I dislike that phrase) is because gay conservatives aren't obsessively focused on their sexuality like the mainstream "gay community" is. In addition, their world is bigger than their sex organs. Go figure. They focus on larger issues relating to the larger good. You know, something other than self-obsession. Yes, yes, I know, "all men are pigs" and think about sex all the time. True or not, we are talking about degrees of scale here.

Here I need to give a shout out to the awesome Gay Patriot. They are a lot nicer about things there than I am here. They are more professional and better at cool argument too, whereas I'm more like, "this is the way it is and if you don't like it, kiss my damn ass" lol. There is an excellent post on gay marriage there, if you care to read something on this issue from gay people who are not completely nuts.

I should say, for the record, that I KNOW beyond all shadow of a doubt that I was made by God to have a loving, committed relationship with another man. I have not a shred of shame in that. It's a gift, like all that we have been given by God is a gift, whether or not it makes life easier or more difficult. His wisdom is beyond question.

But marriage? I've posted on this. All I care about is domestic partnership. A sizable minority of conservatives support this and a majority of Americans. A majority of Americans do not support "marriage." They have consistently voted against it. That's democracy. You don't live with democracy only when it goes your way and then chuck it. Unless of course, you're a cultural Marxist

We are talking about thousands of years of tradition and, as marriage only became a civil issue in the 20th century, previously having only been a religious one, opponents understandably see it as legislating religion. Funny, it's evil for City Hall to put up a manger scene at Christmas but it's just fine to amend the damn constitution to force a change of religious beliefs. What the hell.

I think, big deal about the word. It's a word, for Christ's sake! What I care about are things like not being barred from visiting a terminally ill man that I may have committed myself to. I don't have to be seen as the same - real committed love between two people is the same regardless of a couples orientation, in that love that deep partakes of God. That is where marriage really takes place. I know. I had the extreme blessing to have experienced that. But to say that man+man = man+woman is completely untrue. Possibility of babies? Different anatomy? A+A=A+B? Please review your elementary school math books.

Look at the retarded b.s. that came out of radical feminism's denial of any difference between the genders. Sure men and women are equal. But they are different as well. Similarly, love between a man and man, and that between a man and woman are equal. But they are different as well. It's fantasy to pretend otherwise. I for one find it a better world for having such difference.

(Huh. Ya know, come to think of it, isn't "diversity" s'posed to be a holy word in the doctrine of the fundamentalist leftist religion?)

Instead, it's a battle about wanting to be called the same when for years all the gay "world" has done is go on and on about how friggin unique and different they are with different rules that "you straight people wouldn't understand." "It's a gay thing."

Check out what happened to a group of Christians in San Francisco (whether or not you consider them "real" Christians or support their ideas) , found at Michelle Malkin:

...Then, they started throwing hot coffee, soda and alcohol on us and spitting (and maybe even peeing) on us. Then, a group of guys surrounded us with whistles, and blasted them inches away from our ears continually. Then, they started getting violent and started shoving us. At one point a man tried to steal one of our Bibles. Chrisdene noticed, so she walked up to him and said “Hey, that’s not yours, can you please give it back?”. He responded by hitting her on the head with the Bible, shoving her to the ground, and kicking her.

...Roger got death threats. As the leader of our group, people looked him in the eyes and said “I am going to kill you.”, and they were serious. A cop heard one of them, and confronted him.

...They were touching and grabbing me, and trying to shove things in my butt, and even trying to take off my pants - basically trying to molest me. I used one hand to hold my pants up, while I used the other arm to hold one of the girls. The guys huddled around all the girls, and protected them.

Oh. Those protesters just wanted to be loved like everyone else! It's all about love!
Funny, it looks a lot like hatred to me. That's it in a nutshell: welcome to the left, 2008.

Thank you, dip-shits, for setting hetero-homo relations back 20 years. People who had no problem with same-sex folks and people who were unsure, will now make up their minds that all people like myself are beneath contempt. Like a decent Muslim does, I'll understand where the animosity is coming from the next time someone tells me to go to hell.

UPDATE: Gay Patriot has some good points:

...while those in the MSM were eager (based on a few isolated incidents) to find angry outbursts on the right, they all but ignore it when it comes from a non-conservatives groups.

And while Republicans (and conservatives) routinely denounced such excess, I have yet to see heads of gay organizations denouncing the extremism at the anti-8 rallies. Indeed, some seem to encourage it by calling their adversaries haters. To be sure, organizers of this past weekend’s rallies did encourage participants to “to avoid signs that single out a particular religious or ethnic group,” saying, “We must continue to garner support for our movement through positive and peaceful messages.”

I commend them for discouraging ad hominems and encouraging peaceful protest....

I criticize the rallies because they paint a pretty pathetic picture of the gay community, of citizens who refuse to accept the results of a popular initiative. Instead of community leaders saying, “We accept this loss; we failed to get our message across, we’ll do better next time,” they organize in the streets.

I've been remiss on posting lately. I'm overwhelmed. Over half of our country is bat-shit insane. I don't mean that in the oh-we're-all-nuts-ha-ha cute way, I mean literally out of their friggin minds.

I've been avoiding the news, but watching "Murder She Wrote" last night (God, I LOVE Angel Lansbury! Sue me.) I channel surfed during a commercial and landed on William Ayers speaking live to Georgetown Law School Students, where he had been invited by the Georgetown Law National Lawyers Guild. He went on and on about how Fox News is completely out there, totally evil and that they made him the target of an Orwellian two minute hate. He was victimized by them as a target of hatred. He went on and on and ooooon about how absurd it is that the evil right calls him a terrorist. AND THE AUDIENCE KEPT APPLAUDING HIM.

Hello, Absurdity? This is Mr. Mirror.

I clicked it off in disgust, but like rubbernecking at the scene of a horrible auto accident, I had to look back. Glenn Beck was being interviewed. He pointed out how many people are just loosing it over talk radio, that it's evil and hateful and has to be stopped (which is on Obama's agenda, btw). Yet these same people have no problem at all with a man that bombed the pentagon and was part of a group that killed people, including police officers, terrorized a family when their home was firebombed in the middle of the night and bombed the pentagon. In fact, they honor him. They HONOR him. He is a professor of EDUCATION. As in how to teach YOUR children. Let me repeat:

TALK radio = evil

Does anyone see anything just a little insane here? This isn't just some lunatic leftist fringe. This is the mainstream of the Democratic party now. And its no friggin big deal to people. "Ah, so what." And you ask why I labeled this posting "Living in the Land of the Walking Dead". WE ARE.

Here's more from the honorable William Ayers speech last night, from Townhall:
"Not only did I never kill or injure another person, but the Weather Underground in its six years did not injure or kill another person."
From The New Editor, "Besides the three Weather Underground members who were killed when their nail bomb -- meant for a military dance hall at Fort Dix, NJ -- went off prematurely, two security guards, one NYC policeman, and one SF policeman were killed in events perpetrated by the Weather Underground." This is common knowlege. Just breath-taking; that he could lie so completely and easily and have a crowd believe him in the face of mountains of evidence. To applaud that lie and eat it up like cotton candy in Happy Gumdrop Land.

Oh wait...I forgot. Sorry. According to post-modernism, reality is just what you say it is. Right and wrong are just in your head. My bad. I don't want to appear un-intelligent or nuthin. DUDE- we have a whole generation schooled to believe that and now they're acting on it! Why do you think that nothing mattered at all as to who or what Obama really is, what he did or didn't do, or what he believes in this last and most likely final presidential election?
He expressed no remorse for his group's illegal actions. "I don't think anyone was brilliant and I don't think anyone was horrible. Each one did what they did."
Yeah, like, no one is, like, good. No one is bad. We were all justa bunch a guys and chicks, you know, just doin stuff. Like killing people and setting bombs. (note the previous post with the FBI informant that took part in their discussions of having to kill 25 million Americans that would be "resistant to re-education" when the Weather Underground took power). Its all ok, maaan. Stop wojing on our buzz, maaan!

Now are you ready for this?

Ayers opened his discussion by talking about the serial killer John Wayne Gacy. Ayers said he was disturbed by the media hysteria celebrating his court-ordered execution. “There was something about it that was sickening to me, there was something about the glee….what were we being happy about?" This, he said, is part of what inspired him to begin opposing capital punishment.

Ayers called for a more "balanced view of justice."

"Everyone of us is a full human being deserving of our respect and our rights," said the man who helped plan the bombings of several federal buildings.

Yes, poor, poor child-molesting serial killer John Wayne Gacy. Compassion for him, but Fox News is evil and must be destroyed.

William Ayers was a loooong time ally of Obama, ALLY not ASSOCIATE, working closely with him on several occasions. In this interview Ayer's described Obama as, "a family friend." How anyone could ever trust The Obamanation to run a day care much less our nation...

Bat. Shit. Insane.

If I don't end up in the Betty Ford Clinic before I die it will be a damn miracle. I'm gonna go have a beer and work on getting my government bailout package.

Gol! Wonder what happened?

She goes to a school full of Obama-Zombies. Her Mom is liberal, her Dad conservative. She wondered how wedded to Obama's promised values of inclusion, diversity and "reaching across the aisle" to work together they were. So she wore a "McCain Girl" t-shirt to school. From The Chicago Tribune:
"People were upset. But they started saying things, calling me very stupid, telling me my shirt was stupid and I shouldn't be wearing it," Catherine said.

Then it got worse.

"One person told me to go die. It was a lot of dying. A lot of comments about how I should be killed," Catherine said, of the tolerance in Oak Park.

One student suggested that she be put up on a cross for her political beliefs.

"He said, 'You should be crucifixed.' It was kind of funny because, I was like, don't you mean 'crucified?' " Catherine said.

Other entries in her notebook involved suggestions by classmates that she be "burned with her shirt on" for "being a filthy-rich Republican."

Like all of the now mainstream, previously far left, their actions are completely opposed to their stated...uh....values.

Karl, radio personality and Huffington Post columnist was recorded calling for the death of Joe the Plumber. He has been fired. Does he accept responsibility? From World Net Daily:
"Yes, this is wrong. It is my responsibility but not my fault," he said. "I do my show remotely and have no on/off for my microphone. The engineer had two ways of stopping this, and had he not been in the bathroom he may have.
And anyway, Joe Wurzelbacher isn't a real person so who cares? Karl, who is gay, presumably doesn't like it when straight people deny his humanity and reduce him to a stereotyped cartoon character, but it's just fine for him to do so to other people:
"John McCain's campaign has created a character that does not exist played by the part of Sam Wurzelbacher," he said. "Saying death to 'Joe the Plumber' is like saying you want Joe Camel killed off or Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter, a fictional character in John McCain's final act."

...Joe the Plumber is a fictional character in American politics, and it is time for him to go...
Karl isn't an extremist. Karl is part of the new mainstream left. Classy. Principled. Kind.

The wild call of the left. It never ceases to amaze me that I spent so many years believing that I was involved in a movement, no, make that a religion, that pressed for precisely the opposite of it's self-image. They say they're for freedom, but want slavery to the state; free speech, but they do all they can to eliminate it; uplift for Americans of African descent, while fostering a slave mentality. Well one valuable thing that has stayed with me from my days as a Moonbat, is this quote from The Book of the Subgenius:
"the more time you spend with your head in the clouds, grokking with the hole-in-oneness, the more time the rest of you spends down here on earth, acting like an asshole."
David Limbaugh has posted a great piece summarizing the left's fight against free speech and the insane disconnect between their words and their actions. Check it out.

Now we have a president that embodies the most extreme elements of the left: Marxism, dreams of a totalitarian state and the fostering and building of a cult of personality. Mr. Limbaugh summarizes:
If you believe the left is tolerant, open-minded and democratic, you're in for a rude awakening.
I suppose if all more gentle attempts to awaken a comatose patient fail, the only thing left is a rude awakening. Maybe the horrors to come are just what we need to come back to life. Maybe this evil will be a good thing.

A great way to say thanks: Wounded Warrior Project

There's a story from the AP today quoting Rep. Paul Broun. He talks about Obama's plans for a national security force:
"That's exactly what Hitler did in Nazi Germany and it's exactly what the Soviet Union did," Broun said. "When he's proposing to have a national security force that's answering to him, that is as strong as the U.S. military, he's showing me signs of being Marxist."

Broun said he also believes Obama likely will move to ban gun ownership if he does build a national police force.

"We can't be lulled into complacency," Broun said. "You have to remember that Adolf Hitler was elected in a democratic Germany. I'm not comparing him to Adolf Hitler. What I'm saying is there is the potential."

Well I'm comparing him to Adolf Hitler. Ok, maybe not Hitler, maybe more like a combination of Jim Jones and Chairman Mao.

Monday Night Motivational Seminar featuring Dr. Nelson and Dr. Keith (thanks Robb!)

(from Moonbattery)

No comment necessary here. From the NYTimes, of all places:

The leader of a jihadi group in Iraq argued Friday that the election of Barack Obama as president represented a victory for radical Islamic groups that had battled American forces since the invasion of Iraq. …
Mr. Baghdadi also said that the election of Mr. Obama — and the rejection of the Republican candidate, Senator John McCain — was a victory for his movement, a claim that has already begun to resonate among the radical faithful. …
And other commentators echoed Mr. Baghdadi's view that the election was a victory for the insurgents in Iraq, the Taliban in Afghanistan, Hamas in the Gaza Strip and Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.
"It would be no exaggeration to say that we Arabs and Muslims were the main unseen voters who decided the outcome of these elections," wrote Abdelbari Atwan in Wednesday's issue of the London-based pan-Arab daily newspaper Al Quds Al Arabi.
He wrote, "The transformation that will begin in the U.S. starting today in various political, economic, military, and social domains may well have been delayed for decades, had the new American century been crowned with victory, and had the situation in Iraq and Afghanistan taken the directions sought by the neo-cons — in other words, had there been political stability and economic prosperity…"

We are no longer in realm of politics. We are in a war for the survival of our country. McCain made the virtue of "being nice" and "honorable" a vice- it lost him the election. He was unable to believe the reality of what he was up against. Here are some great posts about the futility of being "nice" and suggestions of where to go from here.

Rex Mundi commented at Anti-Idiotarian:
stop being so “Agree to Disagree” with friends and family. Make them put up or shut up. You don’t get to CLAIM one thing, and a name that goes with it, while your Actions and words CONSTANTLY line up with “The Other”.
I whole-heartedly agree. It's not "fun" to loose friends angry with you over your refusal to cave to their delusions but you aren't helping them any and you certainly aren't helping our country.

It's like helping a crack-head with more crack.

From the Wall Street Journal:

A Rasmussen survey conducted Oct. 2 found that 59% agreed with the sentiment expressed by Reagan in his first inaugural address: "Government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem." Just 28% disagreed with this sentiment. That survey also found that 44% of Obama voters agreed with Reagan's assessment (40% did not). And McCain voters overwhelmingly supported the Gipper.

The real challenge for the new president will be attempting to govern with a message that resonates with most voters but divides his own party. Consider that 43% of voters view it as a positive to describe a candidate as being like Reagan, while just 26% consider it a negative.
A majority of Americans didn't loose their minds, they were lied to and believed it. Most people were too busy with their families and work to dig for news, as opposed to what they were fed by the mainstream media arm of the Obama campaign. They're gonna be mighty pissed off in 4 years. If we still have a country (well I didn't say it was bright sunshine, did I?)

From Breitbart:
President-elect Obama's advisers are quietly crafting a proposal to ship dozens, if not hundreds, of imprisoned terrorism suspects to the United States to face criminal trials, a plan that would make good on his promise to close the Guantanamo Bay prison but could require creation of a controversial new system of justice.
"NEW SYSTEM OF JUSTICE" Yes, that's what it says. Garsh, how could that possibly fit into The Lightbringer's plans? Hmmmmm....ponder....ponder....
Some detainees likely would be returned to the countries where they were first captured for further detention or rehabilitation.
"REHABILITATION"!!!! Oh my God! They're killin' me with this stuff. Someone get them a show on comedy central!

I mean what can be said of this? Got the time?
Boing! Koo-koo!
Boing! Koo-koo!

Oh, pshaw! We have the constitution! We have elections! C'mon!

Well I cannot believe that it's an absolute certaintly, maybe because I can't live without hope
(how's that for irony?!).

But it's looking very dark and every day in the news there are more signs of our "new direction".

People who do not believe that to show the greatest love of America is to kill it, will have to fight like they have never before in their lives. We can not let the blood, hard work and sacrifice of millions of men and women who gave everything for the country they loved be for nothing.

How will The One and his cultists try to end it? Read this post at The American Spectator.

Depressing and frightening, yes, but we need to know what we're up against. The beer and playstation will still be there tomorrow.
