REASON No. 3586 WHY I DON'T CALL MYSELF "GAY"

Marriage has been declared as being between one man and one woman in 30 state elections now. Marriage is a unique institution in that it is partly religious and partly civil. Some, understandably, see changing the definition of marriage as the state instituting religious beliefs. Add to that thousands and thousands of years of tradition.

Well its done. Get over it. And what's more, there is a sizable minority of conservatives and a majority of the general public that support same-sex civil unions. All the rights, all the responsibilites. What is the big freakin' deal over the word? I'll tell you what it is. Its forcing people to accept as the same that which is different. Its the gay ayatollahs that are constantly going on about how damn "different" and "unique" they are. They have defined the word "gay" as a culture, not an orientation. But then they come back and say they are the same as straight couples. See a contradiction there? Maybe they should get some sleep, limit their drinking to 2 bottles of Grey Goose a week and get another hobby besides collecting fetish gear and screaming at people. Just a thought.

Check out the reactions to Prop 8's defeat in California, from Michelle Malkin:
They’ve marched in Los Angeles. They’re targeting the Mormon Church in Salt Lake City. And they’re threatening to burn down churches and hunt down people of faith who supported the ballot measure:
...

“Burn their f—ing churches to the ground, and then tax the charred timbers,” wrote “World O Jeff” on the JoeMyGod blogspot today within hours of California officials declaring Proposition 8 had been approved by a margin of 52 percent to 48 percent. Confirmation on voter approval of amendments in Florida and Arizona came earlier.

Another contributor to the JoeMyGod website said, “While financially I supported the Vote No, and was vocal to everyone and anyone who would listen, I have never considered being a violent radical extremist for our equal rights. But now I think maybe I should consider becoming one. Perhaps that is the only thing that will affect the change we so desperately need and deserve.”

A contributor identifying himself as “Joe” said, “I swear, I’d murder people with my bare hands this morning.”
