THE ONE KEEPS PLANS FOR HIS OBAMA YOUTH, CHANGES WORDING

Indoctrination into correct Marxist principles is not happening fast enough in our schools to suit Our Benevolent Leader. I'm sure he was frustrated at the failure of so much of his work with William Ayers on this issue. Kids will need additional indoctrination (this, of course, is in addition to the Civilian Security Force he's pledged to bring about). Yes, I'm sure they'll be free to think what they want and merely be visiting little old ladies in nursing homes. From World Net Daily:

"Obama will call on citizens of all ages to serve America, by developing a plan to require 50 hours of community service in middle school and high school and 100 hours of community service in college every year," the site announced.

He's correct to think that playing word games with his plan will be successful. After all, he was brought to power by people basing their vote on his vibe and their need for a savior, not his empty, meaningless rhetoric.

The really scary thing is that having pledged one's heart and soul to the leader of a cult of personality, it's very hard to find the way back to reality- even in the face of glaring contradictions. The humiliating blow to the ego is too much to even to contemplate. It looks like death. And even real death may seem preferable in the face of such personal destruction. Look at the followers of Jim Jones. It took me years to come out of my delusional embrace of leftist politics precisely because it was more than politics. It was a religion for me and for everyone else I associated with on what was then the far edge of, now the mainstream of the left. How much more of a religion has it become now that it has morphed into a slavish cult of personality?
