DUDE TIES HIMSELF INTO A PRETZEL JUSTIFYING HIS CALL FOR JOE THE PLUMBER'S DEATH

Karl, radio personality and Huffington Post columnist was recorded calling for the death of Joe the Plumber. He has been fired. Does he accept responsibility? From World Net Daily:
"Yes, this is wrong. It is my responsibility but not my fault," he said. "I do my show remotely and have no on/off for my microphone. The engineer had two ways of stopping this, and had he not been in the bathroom he may have.
And anyway, Joe Wurzelbacher isn't a real person so who cares? Karl, who is gay, presumably doesn't like it when straight people deny his humanity and reduce him to a stereotyped cartoon character, but it's just fine for him to do so to other people:
"John McCain's campaign has created a character that does not exist played by the part of Sam Wurzelbacher," he said. "Saying death to 'Joe the Plumber' is like saying you want Joe Camel killed off or Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter, a fictional character in John McCain's final act."

...Joe the Plumber is a fictional character in American politics, and it is time for him to go...
Karl isn't an extremist. Karl is part of the new mainstream left. Classy. Principled. Kind.
