Say we made guns illegal. They are no longer to be used or bought and sold. All good people agree to this. But what happens when someone decides, "screw it. I'm making a gun and gonna go out and cap some MF's." Who is going to stop them? No one has any guns because having guns is wrong. The police don't have them. So the result of this high-minded policy is that only the wrong have guns.

Is it really that difficult to grasp this concept?
