THE SHINING, SPOTLESS ONE DISTURBED BY RIGHT-WING RHETORIC

How can people not only criticize but be kinda mean to the One True Risen Obamessiah?

From News Busters:

In a fawning interview with President Obama on Thursday, CBS Early Show co-host Harry Smith spoke of the "enmity" of conservative talk radio and sympathetically wondered: "Does it bother you a little bit?"
"...I am concerned about a political climate in which the other side is demonized."
"...I think that when you listen to Rush Limbaugh or Glenn Beck it's-" Smith pressed further: "It's beyond that." Obama continued: "It's pretty apparent and it's troublesome."

Smith recounted this kind of racist, hate-filled invective coming from the opposition:

...terms you're sometimes referred to, out in America, is a 'socialist.'

Oh the horror! Calling a socialist a socialist is beyond the pale! Even now that more and more in Washington and more of The One's friends are dropping the mask and admitting it.

Meanwhile, the Democratic National Committee sent this stuff out in a fund-raising letter recently:

...the Democratic National Committee called those who attend tea party events "narrow minded . . . nut jobs" and "vile two-bit wing-nuts." (Karl Rove)

When I watched him on the tube, he also mentioned something in there about them being "slime" that needs to crawl back under whatever rock they came from.

The M.O. at work here: punch someone in the face and when they defend themselves cry that they are big 'ol meanies.

Pathetic.
