HOPE VS. CHOPE

From Gallup:
Obama’s job approval rating for his handling of the economy has dropped from 59% in February to 55% today, while his disapproval rating has risen by 12 points, from 30% to 42%.
Maybe has something to do with this:
in May, and the unemployment rate rose to 9.4 percent. Since the start
of the recession in December 2007, the number of unemployed persons has
risen by 7.0 million, and the unemployment rate has grown by 4.5 percent-
age points. The number of unemployed persons increased by 787,000 to 14.5 million
Of course it takes time to convert all private industry into government industry. As government jobs continue to grow and people are paid with the money that The Obamanation is just printing, the numbers might change....for awhile.

The irony? Socialist Europe continues to move to the right and Russia's state paper, Pravda is warning us against a Marxist path. They've recognized that a century of failure actually means something. Unfortunately for us, we haven't. Yet. Hope it doesn't take too much pain to wake the hell up.

UPDATE: More good news, from Rasmussen:

Voters now trust Republicans more than Democrats on six out of 10 key issues, including the top issue of the economy.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 45% now trust the GOP more to handle economic issues, while 39% trust Democrats more.

So why did they vote for him? Dr. Melissa Clouthier:
Why?

Because voting for Barack Obama seemed "hopeful" and was a new "change" and voters wanted to believe he was some sort of moderate. In fact, I bet these same exact voters would rate the President as The Best President Of The World Ever if the poll included the question. Such is the disconnect with Obama and his policies.

(I would add that those unaware of the non-mainstream media, relying on only the Obamamedia lacked information)

Still, I saw the liberal guests on Hannity look and talk a little panicky at the thought of a nuclear Iran and the implications for what President Obama's moral equivalizing really means. It's a double-bind extraordinaire.

And now, everyone is seeing what a head of cabbage could see about the economy: Spending a gazillion dollars to save our indebted hides will be a disaster; is a disaster.

A few months late, geniuses. Voting for President Obama was the feel-good vote. Hope everyone's self-esteem is doing well, because your pocketbooks and your freedoms will diminish every day the man is in office.
