The left would be screaming for the firing of anyone on the right making obscene, sexist remarks.

So I'm glad to see this:

New York State Assembly Minority Leader Brian Kolb, a Republican, is calling on the CEO of CBS to fire David Letterman for crude comments he made about Sarah Palin and her daughter....

“Firing Mr. Letterman would send a clear message that CBS will not tolerate any of its employees — even an established media figure like Mr. Letterman — making demeaning and degrading comments about women.”

An Austin businessman also filed a complaint with the FCC. (Gateway Pundit)

Guess these people have not yet realized that in the World of Chope, sexism, racism and anti-semitism are just fine....when used against those with whom they disagree.

And anyone who takes offense, as Sarah Palin did, when hearing jokes about her daughter being raped, well....

Olbermann called her, "Sanctimonious, holier than thou, exploitative, undignified, pedantic, childish, self-inflicting, insipid, backwards, embarrassing, over-reactive, overreaching" as well as a "delusional lunatic."

Potentially even more disgraceful, in Olbermann's almost unimaginably perverted view, Letterman is actually "the victim" who has "continued to take the high road" in this sordid affair. (Newsbusters)
