ALL YOUR CHILDREN R BELONG TO US!

I'm trying. I really am. But how the hell can I stop with the 1930's Germany comparisons when The One acts more and more like its mirror?

Der Fuhrer appeal directly to the children and believed they belonged to The State first, their families second. He had them swearing allegiance to him.

Der Messiah is directly appealing to our children to make sure they know that they belong to The State instead of the state being something that works for them and their families.

Obama will deliver a national address directly to students on Tuesday, which will be the first day of classes for many children across the country. The address, to be broadcast live on the White House's Web site, was announced in a letter to school principals last week by Education Secretary Arne Duncan.

Obama intends to "challenge students to work hard, set educational goals and take responsibility for their learning," Duncan wrote. Obama will also call for a "shared responsibility" among students, parents and educators to maximize learning potential. ...

Students in grades pre-K-6, for example, are encouraged to "write letters to themselves about what they can do to help the president. These would be collected and redistributed at an appropriate later date by the teacher to make students accountable to their goals." (Fox)

Get that? "What they can do to help the PRESIDENT." Not the nation. Not their communities. The President.

And then there's that "shared responsibility" thing. There IS no individual responsibility. That would be mean. Someone buys a house they can't afford and defaults? That's partly your fault, you greedy bastard.

Neal McCluskey, associate director of Cato Institute's Center for Educational Freedom:

"It essentially tries to force kids to say the president and the presidency is inspiring, and that's very problematic," McCluskey said. "It's very concerning that you would do that."

Some relevant historic quotes, via Moonbattery:

Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.
Vladimir Ilyich Lenin
When an opponent declares, "I will not come over to your side," I calmly say, "Your child belongs to us already… What are you? You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community."
Adolf Hitler
And finally.... This vid is hilareous now but it won't be so funny in the near future when it becomes part of your child's education:

UPDATE: They took out the "help the President" homework, thanks to the hue and cry!
