Oh be still my heart! The videos are out daily! ACORN's response after the first tape was "it's an isolated incident." Then more tapes came out from more offices. They said it was a smear and they were gonna sue the film-makers and, bizarrely, Fox TV. Then they got dropped to do the census and movement was a foot to cut a piddly amount of their vast tax-payer funding (its in the millions and they are in line to get almost 3 billion). MORE tapes came out. NOW they say, "garsh, we're sure glad this has been brought to our attention, we're gonna clean up our act (trust us), just like we said we would when we committed all that voter fraud and helped our former employee and legal council, Barack Obama get elected. And by the way, we're still suing, even though we're grateful to the people we're suing. The constant in all of this is their contention that, in the words of Marc Lamont Hill, they
went to “hundreds of ACORN offices” before they were able to catch “low level” ACORN workers for their damning reports on the scandal-plagued organization. When asked how he knew this Hill told O’Reilly that, “They admitted it.”
Big Government responds:
James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles did not go to “hundreds of ACORN offices” to acquire material for this project. They went to the four offices that were shown in the series of videos. Also, at no time did O’Keefe, Giles or any representative of Big Government give such a statement to the press or to anyone.
The accusations by Marc Lamont Hill are completely false.
I wonder....while they're promoting child slavery, prostitution and tax evasion, are they also smoking CRACK!?
And of course, yes. The reason I ask that is because I am....wait for it....wait for it....RACIST!
Among other things. Watch the CEO of ACORN pathetically try to defend her criminal organization here.
Watch her thank O’Keefe and Giles for helping weed out the very few bad apples in the ACORN system before (a) threatening to sue them, (b) accusing them of doctoring the vids, and (c) alleging that they were turned away from “dozens” of offices. She also hedges when he presses her on submitting to an external review in lieu of that sham “audit” she thinks we’re all stupid enough to take seriously. As for the Schultz clip, it’s worth watching for two reasons. One, the “Nuts vs. ACORN” chyron is vintage MSNBC. And two, the McCarthyism soundbite at the very end, used here to deflect public interest in a nonprofit conspiring to cover up child sex trafficking, will live in infamy. (Allahpundit)
Check the site that has all the vids, that broke the story and that is documenting all the twists and turns of the worm that is Obamacorn, here at Big Government.
This is gonna be good.
Here's the latest. The ACORN worker offers to set them up using his connections to get a bunch of 13yo girls for sex slaves. He's not only offering his help, he wants a piece of the action:
