EH...WHO CARES HOW MANY DIE, AND FOR NO REASON? THEY'RE ONLY SOLDIERS!
Gotta say one thing for the far left- at least they're consistent. From Code Pink to the President, they hold the military in contempt. As John Kerry once said, they're only in it because they're too stupid to get what he would term real jobs. Sacrificing, possibly their lives, to make it possible for people like himself to look down their noses at them, is, in the world of the left, just not important or real.
The elite left see themselves floating, up inside ivory towers, working away to socially engineer evil from the human heart, so anyone that provides a foundation for our society is un-necessary: soldiers, cops, you know, people that deal with the dirty things that the elite left wants to pretend don't exist. Things that are to indelicate for their oh-so-sophisticated being and too course for the enjoyment of their highly refined feeeeelings.
Besides, as the children of the 60's (that are now running our government, schools and media) were fond of saying, they're all "baby killers" anyhow. Stupid cowboy hicks!
So it's not a surprise that after Gen. McChrystal has said that we need more troops asap or we will fail in Afghanistan, Der Messiah's response was, uh....I need several weeks to decide what I want to do, and then maybe you can show me your report.
Doesn't matter that things will deteriorate and more brave men and women will die, and needlessly. Gotta put that pencil thin sensitive finger into the wind first and see where it's politically blowing and find out which way to go will be better for HIM.
Understandably, people close to the General say he will resign if he doesn't get more troops.
As Beck said this morning, committing to a war and then not giving the resources to win it is EVIL. Why would the General co-operate with evil? I wouldn't either.
If The One wants us out, get out.
If he wants us in, then do what it takes to win.
Problem is, I just don't think he even cares. Well.....except for how it will effect HIM and his "fundamental transformation of our country." The Glorious Revolution is ALL.

Interesting... Obama has zero good options in Afghanistan, but given the fact that He has never held a real job, whatever pathway he chooses, He is sure to botch. Obama has gotten himself into such a bind internationally. No European nation will support Him despite all the groveling in European capitals. When it comes time for action, America will have to do the dirty work alone - as always. And Obama will have to explain to the American people why he was unable to get any help.
This is clear evidence of Obama voting- PRESENT.
Uh. Afghanistan is not going to sit on the sidelines waiting for halftime to be over before they get they grenades and guns out to attack US.
