In a stunning act of political kowtowing, the EPA caved to special interest groups and politics and declared CO2 a “dangerous pollutant”, even though it is part of the natural cycle of life. (read it all at Watts Up with That)
That's right. Every breath you exhale is destroying the planet and you are disseminating a dangerous pollutant that needs regulated.
Do you realize the near totality of regulation we are talking about? EVERY ASPECT OF YOUR LIFE.
This had been the whole point. Now that global warming has been discredited, they changed the phrase to "climate change" so that NO MATTER WHAT, the temp going up, the temp going down (fluctuating like it naturally does), the emergency that necessitates this total control can still be foisted on the public.
Get used to being a slave.

Now that the lunatics are running the government, those that voted for them are going to see first-hand what a disaster liberal government can be. This happened back in 1979, though.. Jimmy Carter made a mess of the economy and foreign policy and ushered in the Reagan Revolution.
Interestingly, the Regan Revolution got its energy from California's Prop 13 - a measure to limit property taxes in California.
Now that we have the Tea Parties, the next conservative revolution could be sweeping.
