INESCAPABLE INDOCTRINATION

I remember that during all my years as a far-left Marxist community organizer, talking about how we would win the war with our nation. I reasoned that we could not be effectively fought because we were like an octopus fighting on several fronts at once: Through the arts, the schools, the media and through politics. We had so many fronts that the eeeevil right would not be able to focus enough on a target to hit us. Cut off one arm, and there are 7 more fighting.

Little did I know how true that would turn out to be.

Take the arts- the left as ramped up its practice of slipping propaganda into entertainment- taking advantage of the passive consumption inherent in watching a drama or movie.

Law and Order
is increasingly a vehicle for this feeding of crap sandwiches to those passively eating:

This week's episode of "Law & Order: SVU" featured a character played by John Larroquette talking to a detective and saying,

"Limbaugh, Beck, O'Reilly, all of 'em, they are like a cancer spreading ignorance and hate...

They've convinced folks that immigrants are the problem, not corporations that fail to pay a living wage or a broken health care system..."
Half asleep after a long day at work and those messages slip right in and become received knowledge.

Even more insidious, are action-packed blockbuster movies aimed at kids like the new Avatar, being nothing more than an "America Hating PC Revenge Fantasy."

Even all-American icons are being remade, such as G.I. Joe:

As if the makers of “G.I. Joe” hadn’t mucked up their own publicity enough by immediately politicizing the film with an announcement that all the crass Americanism would be stripped from our favorite action heroes in favor of a more global approach, on Monday director Stephen Sommers decided to polarize audiences even more hectoring we RedStaters not to misinterpret the deep well of subtext put into his creation: ”[T]his is not a George Bush movie – it’s an Obama world[.]”

"Crass Americanism." Well thank God. We wouldn't want any child to believe that his own country has anything good about it. Kid's are taught better than that in school, as they are taught that Christianity is evil. Above all, they are shown that The State trumps their parents. Wanna rebel lil' Johnny? Forget what your Mom and Dad say, we'll teach you what the smart and hip people believe!

After destroying everything else, the only thing the educational system and media give kids to believe in is....surprise! The State.

Its the same stategy that was used by Hitler, Mao and Stalin and it's very, very effective in creating a nation of slaves.

From an excellent bit at , come these quotes from influential education "experts":

“…a student attains ‘higher order thinking’ when he no longer believes in right or wrong“. “A large part of what we call good teaching is a teacher´s ability to obtain affective objectives by challenging the student’s fixed beliefs. …a large part of what we call teaching is that the teacher should be able to use education to reorganize a child’s thoughts, attitudes, and feelings.” - Benjamin Bloom, psychologist and educational theorist, in “Major Categories in the Taxonomy of Educational Objectives”, p. 185, 1956

“This is the idea where we drop subject matter and we drop Carnegie Unites (grading from A-F) and we just let students find their way, keeping them in school until they manifest the politically correct attitudes. You see, one of the effects of self-esteem (Values Clarification) programs is that you are no longer obliged to tell the truth if you don’t feel like it. You don’t have to tell the truth because if the truth you have to tell is about your own failure then your self-esteem will go down and that is unthinkable.”- Dr. William Coulson, explaining Outcome Based Education (OBE)-1964

“Every child in America entering school at the age of five is insane because he comes to school with certain allegiances to our founding fathers, toward our elected officials, toward his parents, toward a belief in a supernatural being, and toward the sovereignty of this nation as a separate entity. It’s up to you as teachers to make all these sick children well – by creating the international child of the future”- Dr. Chester M. Pierce, address to the Childhood International Education Seminar, 1973
Or to quote Lenin:

"Give me four years to teach the children and
the seed I have sown will never be uprooted."

The mass-murdering dictator's descendants have planted the seed, it has grown and now we have kids singing praises to their Glorious Leader as part of their "education," while The History Channel and Howard Zinn are preparing a gloves-off Marxist curriculum for K-12 children across the nation.
