THE REPUBLICANS THAT CALL RACISTS RACIST ARE RACIST...or sumthin....

Good God. All the hand wringing goin' on with the RINOS over others in the party labeling this a racist statement October 26 2001:
"I would hope that a wise white male, with the richness of his experiences, would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a Latina woman who hasn't lived that life."

sorry, I mean she said:
"I would hope that a wise Latina woman, with the richness of her experiences, would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn't lived that life."

Yeah. Out of context. Exactly what context could this statement be in and not be racist?

Further, why oh WHY would anyone think that this is a racist statement, coming from a lifelong member of an organization, La Raza (The Race)? Michelle Malkin has a list of hair-raising crap that The Race is pushing- check it out- here's a couple of fun facts about The Race:

“U.S. English is to Hispanics as the Ku Klux Klan is to blacks.”

“The Race” gives mainstream cover to a poisonous subset of ideological satellites, led by Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan, or Chicano Student Movement of Aztlan (MEChA). The late GOP Rep. Charlie Norwood rightly characterized the organization as “a radical racist group . . . one of the most anti-American groups in the country, which has permeated U.S. campuses since the 1960s, and continues its push to carve a racist nation out of the American West.”

“The Race” sponsors militant ethnic nationalist charter schools subsidized by your public tax dollars (at least $8 million in federal education grants). The schools include Aztlan Academy in Tucson, Ariz., the Mexicayotl Academy in Nogales, Ariz., Academia Cesar Chavez Charter School in St. Paul, Minn., and La Academia Semillas del Pueblo in Los Angeles, whose principal inveighed: “We don’t want to drink from a White water fountain, we have our own wells and our natural reservoirs and our way of collecting rain in our aqueducts. We don’t need a White water fountain . . . ultimately the White way, the American way, the neo liberal, capitalist way of life will eventually lead to our own destruction.”

More here.

And the final word, from the awesome People's Cube:

With the nomination of Sonia Sotomayor, DEAR LEADER is finally able to destroy the dream of that evil Rethuglikkkan Traitor-to-His-Racetm, Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. King foolishly dreamed of judging people by the content of their character, not by the color of their skin. We Progressives PROGS know better: the color of a person’s skin is the only thing by which we must judge a person. Except for the pigment-challenged members of the The Partytm, all white people are, by virtue of their race, evil.
