JUSTICE DEPARTMENT: VOTER INTIMIDATION IS JUST FINE...

...if its done by black racist thugs. The Department of justice dropping its case against the Black Panthers that blocked a polling place wearing jackboots and brandishing clubs while they yelled such things as, “You are about to be ruled by the black man, cracker.” (more here here and here)

Yup. Just dropped it. Despite the fact that it's a case they had already won by default judgment.

Despite the fact that the voter intimidation laws came about during the civil rights era to protect black voters from idiot racist Klansmen.

And Right Wing News points out:
Remember the uproar during the 2004 presidential election about supposed voter disenfranchisement and voter intimidation that allegedly took place in Florida. Reports of blacks being stopped at police roadblocks and turned away from voting places? The Civil Rights Commission as well as numerous media outlets descended on the state in an attempt to validate the rumors. The story remains an urban myth to this day despite the fact that no evidence of any of that taking place was found.

So to review: if its imaginary, its bad. If its real, its good.

If its white guys in hoods waving clubs and calling people nigger, its bad.
If its black guys in jackboots waving clubs and calling people crackers, its fine.

Hope. Change.
