THIS IS NOT ANGRY MOB VIOLENCE

The MSM has predictably forgotten all the swastikas and the calls for killing Bush that were epidemic during his presidency, while vilifying the Tea Party as a violent mob, racist and full of swastikas, that are dangerous and need to be closely watched. Evidence thus far? None.

I've never seen a more mellow crowd, and trust me, I've been to many, MANY left wing protests in my day.

So now that we have REAL mob violence, calls to overthrow the government, swastikas, vandalism and burning in the streets, what do you hear from the MSM?

Via Hot Air:
A group of protesters demonstrating at a May Day rally for worker’s and immigrant rights downtown broke off into a riot vandalizing about a dozen businesses around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, police said. Windows were left shattered and graffiti including anarchy signs were tagged onto buildings...

Santa Cruz police asked for help from all agencies in the county to break up the riot of about 200 people. At one point, protesters lit a fire on the porch of Caffe Pergolesi and blocked access to firefighters, officers said.

Bob Owens at Confederate Yankee says it wasn’t just Santa Cruz, either, but also Asheville, NC. The Boss Emeritus finds another in San Francisco. She also finds a Univision reporter participating in a protest he was covering. Will Univision suspend the reporter as KOTA did Shad Olson?
Michelle Malkin, has much, much more and a whole gallery of images of the the lowlife, violent, un-american protesters.

To the left, this isn't really violence. It's the "any means necessary" of Saul Alinsky, being used by kind-hearted people working to build a better world.

Real violence, to them, is imagined violence that they project onto those opposing them, since, according to their own self definition as being above any kind of evil, people like those in the tea parties MUST be the evil and violent. And of course, racist. The enlightened left can't hide their own darkness from themselves without displacing it on to someone else. It's not politics, really. It's a mental health issue.

Video of the of the loving left, carrying torches and chanting "the streets are on fire" at the link.

Thank GOD it wasn't a bunch of old ladies singing the national anthem! The SWAT team would have had to been called out!
