MENTAL ILLNESS DETECTION TEST

It can save you a lot of time and aggravation when you are able to detect the severely mentally imbalanced before wasting your time with them.

It's one reason that I have a twice life size portrait of Sarah Palin in my living room. It's like a nut-bag detector that sets them off all a- beepin' and a- twitchin' at the very sight of her. Then I can calmly walk them to the door.

Morgan Freeberg at Right Wing News has noticed a few things about these poor, suffering people. Among them:

1. They've achieved a great deal less in life than she has, even though some are quite a bit older than she is.

2. They don't want to be called "haters," although their reaction to her is purely negative and purely emotional; I'm left groping for another word and "bashers," far from being a perfect fit, ends up being the least-unsuitable.

4. Whatever they have to say about Palin's lack of competence or intellectual acumen, is felt, not thought. It invariably relies, not on observations, but on perceptions of what others are going to do. Nobody truly owns this.

6. They breathe hard and their pulse quickens. I haven't run into too many people who are ready to calmly explain Sarah Palin's lack of qualifications.

11. They seem to have an awful lot of ego invested in these discussions, like if they cannot convince ALL reading or listening that Palin is a dimbulb, right here & right now, that this failing will somehow diminish them as a person.

12. They aren't at all willing to say women should be staying home raising their kids; but they're perfectly willing to say Palin should be staying home raising her kids.

13. They are loud, eager to get their opinion on the record, to the point of being obnoxious. Nobody seems to be sitting in a corner anywhere quietly thinking to himself "Wow I wish Palin would go away she's so unqualified."

15. The standard they apply to Sarah Palin is not just higher than the standard they apply to others; it is surreal. Speculation on false pregnancies, burning books, forcing rape victims to pay for their own examinations, months and years after being thoroughly debunked, is somehow considered residually damning against her.

22. They're ready, willing and able to quickly concede that the attacks on Palin have been "unfair"; but their opinions about Palin appear to have been decided entirely by these unfair attacks. How's this work exactly?

So go fight, but you can't fight. Stand there and die. Garsh, I wonder why so many more are being killed? They're not just being killed by the Taliban. They are being killed by the left.

Moonbattery has the whole ugly story. Among some of the rules of engagement:

• No night or surprise searches.
• Villagers are to be warned prior to searches.
• Afghan National Army, or ANA, or Afghan National Police, or ANP, must accompany U.S. units on searches.
• U.S. soldiers may not fire at insurgents unless they are preparing to fire first.
• U.S. forces cannot engage insurgents if civilians are present.
• Only women can search women.
• Troops can fire on insurgents if they catch them placing an IED but not if insurgents walk away from where the explosives are.

Predictably, the Taliban, not being as stupid as our highly-evolved leftist elite, are using our idiocy to kill more of us.

Just as they are using our legal system and multi-cultural pc enforcement against us.

The expanding Climate-gate has revealed that disenting voices were denied publication in peer-reviewed journals, were denied funding and that research was hidden, deleted and suppressed that did not fit the left's narrative.

You would think that in the face of all of this, they would stop with the shenanigans. But no.

Why do they keep going with a now discredited narrative after being exposed as phony shills? I think a couple reasons. "I have something behind me here called the ‘Triple Crown of Cooling,'" Bastardi said. "I'm just as worried that in the next 30 years that we are going back into a period back in the early 1800s which was a mini-Ice Age. We have the natural reversal of the ocean cycles going on. We have very low sun spot activity, increased volcanic activity. I have to tell you something, after this winter in the eastern and southern part of the United States and in Europe - this winter here - a lot of people aren't going to want to hear about global warming because there's already signs that things are turning around."

Dr.Clouthier thinks this marks a turning point for her. Quoting William Jacobson:

When she called out some of the consultants on the McCain campaign, she made enemies. She is feared and loathed within her own party. And yet, Palin already wields enough power that these people must give good face. For now.

The difficult road is ahead for Sarah Palin. It will take all the political skill she can muster to navigate these waters. She has enemies within and without. Better to not think about it and move forward, and continue to make brave decisions.

And that is just the thing that is so great about this woman- she's GOING to "move forward and make brave decisions," regardless of what anyone thinks and what anyone tells her. She knows what's right, she knows what she believes and she's not going to change that to "win" anything. She has what most in both parties in Washington lack: integrity. I think in the long run, that is what is going to get her the presidency. People want change? What could be more different than integrity?

Yes, the left believes a woman has a right to make her own reproductive decisions, unless they are decisions that the left does not like.

Much as the left believes in the separation of church and state, unless the church gets in the way of the left's dreamed of total control. In that case, The State will tell the church what to do and what to believe.

I remember that during all my years as a far-left Marxist community organizer, talking about how we would win the war with our nation. I reasoned that we could not be effectively fought because we were like an octopus fighting on several fronts at once: Through the arts, the schools, the media and through politics. We had so many fronts that the eeeevil right would not be able to focus enough on a target to hit us. Cut off one arm, and there are 7 more fighting.

Little did I know how true that would turn out to be.

Take the arts- the left as ramped up its practice of slipping propaganda into entertainment- taking advantage of the passive consumption inherent in watching a drama or movie.

Law and Order is increasingly a vehicle for this feeding of crap sandwiches to those passively eating:

Half asleep after a long day at work and those messages slip right in and become received knowledge.

THIS is one of the reasons I love Conservative politics. When people write or comment in racist or other bigoted ways, there is a huge pile on of condemnation and genuine outrage. The Republican party was not the party that brought an end to slavery and Jim Crow for nuthin.

The left however, feels very clever depicting Condolesa Rice as Aunt Jemimah, Michael Steele in black face and sending miles of comments to Michelle Malkin calling her a "gook whore." (check it out here) Their peers respond with narry a peep, because, as they are constantly demonstrating, how you live your life or what you do to get what you want don't matter a whit. All that matters is getting control, crushing the enemy and bringing about the Glorious Revolution. To them, racism, sexism and gay-hating is justified if used against their enemies.

The Right feels otherwise. It is ALWAYS sick and evil. They have been at the forefront of making the reality of our nation match the words of our founding documents and continue to believe in their truth. The left feels otherwise- to them, they were just a bunch of hateful straight white men that failed to re-distribute wealth.

I'm beginning to wonder if this has been circulated among the Minions of The One as a talking point when presented with arguments to which they have no answers.

For instance, Dick Cheney, stating the obvious regarding KSM being given a propaganda platform an opportunity to put the CIA on trial, and a good chance of living to kill another day, said:

"He'll be as important or more important than Osama bin Laden," Cheney said about the plotter of 9/11. "And we will have made it possible. We will have given him that platform, that opportunity, to come here and there is absolutely no need to do that."

Cheney also accused Obama of giving "aid and comfort to the enemy."

And not for the first time. And certainly that doesn't happen in the radical base from which he crawled (see pics below).

Asked about all this, Rep. Grayson responded:

"You know, on the internet there's an acronym that's used to apply to situations like this. It's called 'STFU.' I don't think I can say that on the air, but I think you know what that means," Grayson said. (The Hill)

That acronym is short for "Shut the f**k up."

So the Seals face Court Marshall.

Our enemy knows the power that the self-destructive, deluded left wields in what remains of our nation. They are not stupid. Take a look at their captured training manual (from the DOD):

Well, maybe that Dept. of Defense memo was put out during the Bush years and so was scrapped when The One rose to power to "fundamentally transform America."

At least his goal is the same as these poor, abused, misunderstood freedom fighters we are so busy not torturing!

WEARING THE MASK OF FRIENDSHIP

...the FBI labeled CAIR a "front" group for Hamas or that CAIR was an unindicted co-conspirator in that case. It ended last year with convictions on 108 counts tied to Hamas support. Disturbing evidence linking CAIR to Hamas prompted the FBI to cut off relations with CAIR. (IPT)

This is the tip of the CAIR iceberg and yet today the media still consults them as "moderate muslim" experts who are here to help.

LEGAL JIHAD

The "flying Imams" that staged fake preparations for a terrorist attack on a jet just got chunks of cash (to be used to kill us, no doubt) for being "discriminated against."

When six Muslim clerics were removed from a US Airways flight in 2006 because their behavior raised suspicions, the imams and their attorneys rushed to complain of anti-Muslim bias and ethnic profiling.

The inevitable lawsuit soon followed. The religious leaders, who were questioned for a few hours before being released, accused the airline, the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport and law enforcement officials of violating their civil rights.

DEMOGRAPHIC CHANGE

Mullah after mullah has called for immigration and a dedication to continual childbearing as a tool to take over Europe and now the US. This strategy has become all the more effective as the legal system and welfare states of Europe have given them every assistance in this. They will bring over as many wives as possible to pop out as many children as possible, all on government assistance (because, you know, adhering to the law against polygamy would be discrimination).

The MSM continues to ignore climate-gate. The evidence of phony evidence, lying, and suppressing "inconvenient" data continues to mount, and yet the people who just love the planet and want to help ever'body continue to steamroll along with their draconian plans.
It appears that the climate was never the issue, or they would change their tune, right?

IT'S A CULTURE, NOT AN ORIENTATION

Why, oh WHY do straight people hate "the gays" so much! Why are they such bigots?

I used to remember whining like that.

Well here's a clue. It's not the orientation (although there ARE those people that hate that), by and large, it's the culture that the Gay Ayatollahs have decreed over the years to be identical to the orientation.

Why do I dislike gay bars? Because of the culture that is embraced and socially enforced in most of them. A typical conversation goes like this: So, how are you sex sex sex? I sex am fine sex sex. Hear the latest sex sex by Madonna sex? I mean you can't catch a breath without some allusion to sex. Don't get me wrong. I'm not Mr. Prude, but good Lord, there is more to life than that! It's like living in a straight jacket (no pun intended). It's poverty. I prefer riches.

I understand that those who have grown up being told that the way that God made them to love is evil want to rebel against that. But the way to do that is to be centered, not swing the pendulum like a petulant brat to the extreme of putting sex out front everywhere and all the time. And yet, that is what the mainstream gay culture does.

Since they have accepted that culture as identical to their orientation, anyone that has a problem with that is seen as "gay-hating." End of story. No attempt to see another point of view.

Funny thing though. When I started treating people with the respect of not forcing my cultural belief in constant chatter about my sex life as speaking truth to power on them, VOILA! I was treated with respect! But then I guess that's just because I'm "self-loathing" and am suffering from "internalized homophobia." And here I thought I was happy. Foolish me.

So of course when The One's "Safe Schools Czar," Kevin Jennings, comes under attack its....bingo! Homophobia. It isn't because people have a problem with things like this:

So far so good. A noble mission! Oh but wait....

(they promote a recommended reading) list ... divided into three main categories: books recommended for grades K-6; books recommended for grades 7-12; and books for teachers.

Here is what was found inside 11 of those books picked at random:

We were unprepared for what we encountered. Book after book after book contained stories and anecdotes that weren’t merely X-rated and pornographic, but which featured explicit descriptions of sex acts between pre-schoolers; stories that seemed to promote and recommend child-adult sexual relationships; stories of public masturbation, anal sex in restrooms, affairs between students and teachers, five-year-olds playing sex games, semen flying through the air. One memoir even praised becoming a prostitute as a way to increase one’s self-esteem. Above all, the books seemed to have less to do with promoting tolerance than with an unabashed attempt to indoctrinate students into a hyper-sexualized worldview.

We knew that unless we carefully documented what we were reading, the public would have a hard time accepting it. Mere descriptions on our part could not convey the emotional gut reaction one gets when seeing what Kevin Jennings wants kids to read as school assignments. So we began scanning pages from each of the books, and then made exact transcriptions of the relevant passages on each page.

Are we exaggerating, or misconstruing quotes that could be interpreted a different way? No: Read the passages below and judge for yourself. There’s no wiggle room. The language is explicit, the intent clear.

Maybe we should stop seeing people outside of our lil' groups as "the enemy," talk with them and give them the same respect that we demand for ourselves, and maybe we should talk about our dirty laundry so that we can take some responsibility for our self-created problems instead of reflexively playing the tired 'ol victim card all the time.

The newspaper industry is suffering "market failure" and the government will need to help preserve serious journalism essential to democracy, an influential US congressman said Wednesday.

"The newspapers my generation has taken for granted are facing a structural threat to the business model that has sustained them," said Representative Henry Waxman, a Democrat from California.

"The loss of revenue has spurred a vicious cycle with thousands of journalists losing their jobs," he told a meeting on journalism in the Internet age hosted by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

Waxman, who chairs the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, which has jurisdiction over the FTC, said the "depression in the media sector is not cyclical, it is structural."

"While this has implications for the media it also has implications for democracy," he added. "A vigorous free press and vigorous democracy have been inextricably linked.

To review: Government ownership of the media promotes a "vigorous democracy."

You know, just like weakness promotes strenth and rising unemployment means the economy is getting better.

All they have to do it tell us this and we'll buy it because we are too stupid to care about what the truth is. At least that's what they believe.

Waxman exposes his own thinking here in proposing a bailout for a structural problem. Previous bailouts acted on the conclusion that the financial problems they solved were cyclical in nature, not structural, and that taxpayers would get repaid once the cycle turned upward. A structural problem would not get solved by a bailout anyway. It requires a structural reform or an overhaul, which a bailout would delay. A financial crisis should accelerate structural reform, as long as no one intervenes to delay it by subsidizing a failed business model.

What Waxman wants is control. The founders put the press and the government at odds in the First Amendment for a reason. They discovered first-hand how oppressive a government could be when it controlled the media, and they endeavored to avoid exactly what Waxman proposes. Once government funds newspapers, it can easily dictate content, make editorial decisions, and essentially protect itself from any sense of accountability. That kind of control doesn’t even have to come directly; all it takes is a threat to remove the subsidies that other papers receive, and editors and publishers concerned about making a living will eventually comply.

But don't call him un-American.
