Damn, I needed a tissue for this one! LMAO.

Michael Steel is the new head of the Republican National Committee! He was by far the best candidate.

Of course the sensitive, egalitarian left sees him a little bit differently.

While helping to push a continually failed system, socialism, formed in the late 1800's and insisting rigid adherence to it, regardless of party and personal conviction,
Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine, who took over for Howard Dean as DNC chair, released a statement congratulating Steele on his election and, in a somewhat incongruous rhetorical turn, asking Steele to “put partisanship and the politics of the past aside to get out economy working again.”

“President Obama and the Democratic Party are answering that challenge, and I hope Chairman Steele will join us,” Kaine said. (link)
Steele's message to Our Glorious Leader?

“This is the dawn of a new party,” Steele said at a press conference following his victory. “There is not one inch of ground we’re going to cede to anybody.” ...

“I would say to the new president, congratulations. It is going to be an honor to spar with him,” Steele said. “And I would follow that up with: How do you like me now?” (Politico)

I LOVE this guy!

The One just released a best practices manual for the proper caring of US citizens in the coming years of his rule.

See! You'll be treated kindly! Why's so concerned!?

"Out of any money in the Treasury of the United States not otherwise appropriated, there are appropriated such sums as are necessary for payment to the Emergency Fund," Democrats wrote in Section 2101 on Page 354 of the $819 billion bill. In other words, the only limit on welfare payments would be the Treasury itself.

"This re-establishes the welfare state and creates dependency all over the place," said one startled budget analyst after reading the line.

In addition to reopening the floodgates of dependency on federal welfare programs, the change once again deepens the dependency of state governments on the federal government. (Jammy Wearing Fool)

Out of bondage. Into freedom. "Progressing" to slavery.

When Obambi was hangin' with people he knew shared his delusions in California, he went on about "bitter" people "clinging to their guns and religion" in Pennsyvania. I'm sure there was much amusement. He was among the enlightened elite on the west coast. Ha ha. Stupid Hicks!

Highly Evolved California chased out business with huge taxes and vastly expanded entitlements. They care about people, dammit! They don't oppress them like Republikkkans!

Now taxpayers are going to have their refunds "delayed" because the state is out of money. Less coming in, more going out.

Who would have thought? Well, look at it this way, you might not be able to afford food or a place to live, but at least ya got them warm hugs!

This is the model for the country The Obamunist wants to build after he's gets through tearing down America.

It is essential for every marxist totalitarian system to rigourously control information.

...interviews with a dozen Washington reporters indicate that the Obama press operation tends to embrace friendly questions, while treating skeptical questions as not worth their time or, worse, as coming from an enemy. ( CJR )

Add the push to reinstate a "re-branded" fairness doctrine to eliminate Fox and talk radio and you got yerself some good state control! After all, control is what the left is all really about. They know what's best for you!

And don't think your going to get much info from using Google anymore.
The White House has silently tripled the number of Web pages that it forbids Google and other search engines from accessing. (link)

...for being such evil hateful people. "to the Muslim world, we seek a new way forward, based on mutual interest and mutual respect," said Obambi. We need to beg forgivness for,

...these most recent 20 years -- the alleged winter of our disrespect of the Islamic world -- America did not just respect Muslims, it bled for them. It engaged in five military campaigns, every one of which involved -- and resulted in -- the liberation of a Muslim people: Bosnia, Kosovo, Kuwait, Afghanistan and Iraq. The two Balkan interventions -- as well as the failed 1992-93 Somalia intervention to feed starving African Muslims (43 Americans were killed) -- were humanitarian exercises of the highest order, there being no significant U.S. strategic interest at stake. In these 20 years, this nation has done more for suffering and oppressed Muslims than any nation, Muslim or non-Muslim, anywhere on Earth. (full article by Charles Krauthammer)

And just look at the horrible things going on with women now in Iraq!

America- hate n opression r us.

The Obamunist just announced on his website that he will drastically expand "hate crime" legislation. If you are gay, black or muslim and get mugged, there'll be HELL to pay! If you're not...weeeel, not so much.

Look how well it works in Europe.

According to a new FBI assessment.

What would help here? How bout we glorify gansters and the gang lifestyle a little more?
Maybe even invite them to perform inauguration or something?

Gang activity is, according to the liberal intelligencia, THE authentic black experience, and so, must be celebrated.

People like Zo, Thomas Sowell, Bill Cosby...they all just Uncle Toms!

Wonder why things keep getting worse?

Fresh from the Sewer of Phony on Hypocrisy Street, comes a new add to be aired in states that were foolish enough to vote Obamunist. "Are you with Obama or Rush?" it asks.

“Every Republican voted with Limbaugh — and against creating 4 million new American jobs. We can understand why a extreme partisan like Rush Limbaugh wants President Obama’s Jobs program to fail — but the members of Congress elected to represent the citizens in their districts? That’s another matter. Now the Obama plan goes to the Senate, and the question is: Will our Senator"—here the ad is tailored by state to name George Voinovich in Ohio, Arlen Specter in Pennsylvania, and John Ensign in Nevada—"side with Rush Limbaugh too?”

Brad Woodhouse, the Democratic strategist who is overseeing the ad campaign, said: “The House Republicans put their Senate colleagues in the crosshairs because they decided to play politics rather than do the right thing.” (Politico)

Got that? Not becoming a socialist is "partisan" and "playing politics."

The ad, however, has absolutely nothing to do with playing politics.

LOL. On Fox this AM they reported the whitehouse release that Obambi is "outraged" at the bonuses that CEOs of failing companies taking public money got. Outraged! When they are taking public money, they party like rockstars.

Gee, that's sorta like Obama crankin the heat to the point that men can't wear their jackets without cooking to death and his throwing a cocktail party to celebrate his spending bill, with 100 dollar steaks. (link)

But again, we are to do as he says, not as he does. He is MUCH more important than the rest of us and his rules don't apply to His Royal Holiness.

Reading Theodore Dalrymple on England and seeing stories about the its glories and those of France, I can say that socialism destroys a society. Reading the comments in BlackFive's "Ask an Infantryman" I found this, that pretty well sums up what I have seen and heard in other places:

I've lived in three socialist nations, and they're all the same:

Everybody's a drunk; they hate the government; they steal whatever they can; they have no respect for authority; they hate each other; and they can't wait to get the hell out.

Why WOULDNT that be the case? Don't have to work, might as well drink all the time. Expect everything from the government and you throw a tantrum like a little kid when its not perfect. Everyone just KNOWS authority is evil, its the PROLETARIAT that matters, FTP! No respect for themselves as they do nothing to earn it, no respect for anyone else.

The Virginian noticed something interesting.

Click the chart to enlarge. Remember the fact that The Obamunist clinched the nomination

JUNE 3rd.

Notice anything?

Says the ACLU. Really.

"We all know how we got into this economic mess. We spent too much, borrowed with abandon, and acted like the bills would never come due. So what's the prescription for getting out? Spending more, borrowing more, and acting like the bills will never come due." --columnist Steve Chapman

Or maybe it's a coincidence. Great minds and all that....

Posted this on the 26th.

Moonbattery picked it up today on a tip, crediting the pics to

Annie's Inferno

Even though I'm basking in the glow of popularity now, I want the little people to know that I will still talk with them just like I was an average Joe! lol.

Politico reports that White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel holds daily chit chat sessions with several Old Media pals every morning to start his day. Apparently Emanuel has for years been involved with daily bull sessions to plan media coverage and ideological strategy with CNN's James Carville and Paul Begala, as well as ABC's George Stephanopoulos, with the occasional participation of pollster Stan Greenberg. But there is one little problem with this daily palling around with mediots these days: Emanuel now works for the White House. ( NewsBusters )

Obama decides what the news is to be. They tell the media. The media "report it." Perfect. For Nazi Germany.....

(via IMAO)

Thank GOD republicans acted like republicans and NONE of them voted for the spending bill! It passed, none the less, thanks to the hope and change we demanded. Here's a lil' nugget I was unaware of (from Breitbart)

The legislation, which would send tax credits of $500 per worker and $1,000 per couple, expressly disqualifies nonresident aliens, but it would allow people who don't have Social Security numbers to be eligible for the checks.

Get that? "Expressly disqualifies nonresident aliens," and yet those without SS numbers can get the cash. Mouth says one thing. Hand does another.

From Gateway Pundit:

The Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchechr Mottaki announced today that the regime is ready to cooperate with Barack Obama.
This follows the announcement yesterday by the regime that it would not halt its nuclear program...

Yesterday Ahmadinejad told Barack Obama that America must apologise for "crimes committed against the Iranian nation"

Of course they don't have anything to apologize for. Killing our soldiers in Iraq is just fine.

In other Iranian news, their government declared the holocaust a hoax, yet again today.

(via Ace of Spades)

Hypocrite much? Mr. Obama, who hates the cold, had cranked up the thermostat. “He’s from Hawaii, O.K.?” said Mr. Obama’s senior adviser, David Axelrod, who occupies the small but strategically located office next door to his boss. “He likes it warm. You could grow orchids in there.

During the campaign Obambi said:

"We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times ... and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK," Obama said.

"That's not leadership. That's not going to happen," he added.

Leadership. M'kay.

And from Michelle Malkin:

Can the Obama administration be anymore tone deaf? After pushing his $1.1 trillion Generational Theft Act of 2009 through the House last night, the White House apparently decided to throw itself a swank cocktail party...

...(serving vodka martinis and) “wagyu steak.” $100 per serving delicacy.

Per usual with good socialists. We need to sacrifice. They are too important to.

Disagree with socialism? You are as bad as people that use children as human sheilds and decapitate people when they arent busy blowing them up.

Those who believe that are the very people that we on the right are s'posed to kiss and make up with and work together with. THESE are the people in the media arm of The One's permanent campaign.

From NewsBusters:

Newsweek’s Jonathan Alter as guest, Olbermann began: "In his inaugural address, the President essentially tried to create a wedge between those who are reasonable and those who are not. Of course, he was talking about the Muslim world. Is it possible in this different context that he’s trying to do the same as he seeks bipartisanship with the Republicans, sort of, you know, separate, Mullah Limbaugh from the herd?"

This is the mainstream media speaking about you. This is your president's people. My question is how can I consider him "my president" when his people see me the same as an Islamofascist terrorist? He said terrorists need to be destroyed, didn't he? From his decisions to hold direct talks with Iran and hold his first press conference on a Saudi TV station, I don't think he's talkin bout foreign terrorists.

Oh yes, I'm just being paranoid. Can't happen here.

Britain, the canary in the coal mine, shows us our future. If you want to know where the well meaning, caring utopians are leading us, just take a look. From Times Online:

PARTS of the United Kingdom have become so heavily dependent on government spending that the private sector is generating less than a third of the regional economy, a new analysis has found.

The study of “Soviet Britain” has found the government’s share of output and expenditure has now surged to more than 60% in some areas of England and over 70% elsewhere

It now has the highest crime rate in Europe. People have nothing to do, have lost their sense of self worth and sink further and further into the cult of victimhood even as the nanny state takes over more and more of their lives to "help" them. It's in its death throes.

Theodore Dalrymple has a couple excellent books about our future and Britain's present:

Not With a Bang But a Whimper: The Politics and Culture of Decline

Our Culture, What's Left of It: The Mandarins and the Masses

It's on a Saudi tv station. The home of the 9-11 bombers and the number one promoter of radical madrases in the world, the terrorist indoctrination centers, deserve the honor. From My Way News, he said,

"My job to the Muslim world is to communicate that the Americans are not your enemy," Obama told the Saudi-owned, Dubai-based Al-Arabiya news channel.

Obama said the U.S. had made mistakes in the past but "that the same respect and partnership that America had with the Muslim world as recently as 20 or 30 years ago, there's no reason why we can't restore that."

Bush bent over backwards to reach out to so-called mainstream muslims. He called it "the religion of peace" (stop laughing!) and brought muslims with terrorist ties into the government as advisors. All of this foolish, but I guess he thought better to err on the side of inclusiveness. So there is nothing for Obambi to "restore."

And what's this "job to the Muslim world" crap? I thought his job was to the USA (or what's left of it)?

Right. My bad. We are no longer the USA, we are "citizens of the world." He's speaking for his constituents.

"What I told him is start by listening, because all too often the United States starts by dictating," Obama told the interviewer.

Said the wanna-be dictator. He's so soaked in Karl Marx that he can't see the country that his wife has never been proud of as anything but an evil empire bent on subjugating the rest of the world. I would not have been surprised to hear him continue, "we suck and I'm here to tell ya were gonna off ourselves. Like us now?"

Oh, and BTW, that "religion of peace" thing? Here's some perspective from Gateway Pundit:

In a 2006 Pew international survey a majority of Muslims believed that Arabs are not behind the 9-11 and millions believed that violent attacks against civilians were acceptable.

In case you didn't check today's Day by Day cartoon:

E Pluribus Unum means "out of many, one" not "THE one."

Continue to question his Oneness!

And BTW, its very easy to email your rep and senators. Just bookmark their pages and when they need to hear from you...VOILA!

And inconvenienced by the time spent waiting on the phone to talk to them? They play soothing classical music for you- who doesnt need some soothing about now? Think of it as an audio massage treatment! Its good for you and may even enable you to speak without resorting to cuss words! Perfect.

Yes, yes. Concern about The One's totalitarian tendencies is just alarmist!

From Politico:

President Barack Obama is taking far-reaching steps to centralize decision-making inside the White House, surrounding himself with influential counselors, overseas envoys and policy "czars" that shift power from traditional Cabinet posts.

Not even a week has passed since he was sworn in, but already Obama is moving to create perhaps the most powerful staff in modern history – a sort of West Wing on steroids that places no less than a half-dozen of his top initiatives into the hands of advisers outside the Cabinet.

Pulling power close is something all recent presidents have done – and on the campaign trail, Obama spoke out against George W. Bush’s attempt to expand his executive authority.

But when it comes to building his own team, Obama is taking the notion of a powerful White House staff to new heights, leaving little doubt who will set policy and guide the politics of the his newborn administration.

The structure also allowed Obama to bypass the Senate confirmation process on two nominees who would have proven controversial, by merely picking them for White House jobs instead.

...but its ok...he IS the Messiah, after all!

Revealing letter to the Patriot Post:

"My family had the privilege and blessing of being on the Mall when President Reagan's horse-drawn caisson and coffin, slowly came up Constitution Avenue to lie in state at the Capitol. What a thrilling spectacle! The large numbers of people lining Constitution Avenue were incredibly courteous and friendly. The remarkable thing about this huge crowd was how tidy it was. Every trash receptacle was overflowing, however, there was no litter. All the overflow trash was neatly stacked around the full bins. On the other hand, the litter on the mall after Obama's coronation does not surprise me. The two crowds are very different dimensions of America. One crowd was very sensitive to its personal duty of stewardship, and the other was a crowd of socialists who believe in letting someone else clean up after it. This is classic and predictable." --Sacramento, California

This says more than all the bloviating, nicey nice words in the world.

"I cannot undertake to lay my finger on that article of the Constitution which granted a right to Congress of expending, on the objects of benevolence, the money of their constituents." --James Madison (via Patriot Post)

PA newspaper editor to letter writer:

Get off. The whole world is rejoicing with the change of leadership in America.
Or haven't you noticed? The whole world ...... (Newsbusters)

Guess they didn't get that memo in Pakistan the other day (photo, above, from way Gateway Pundit).

The new President's approval ratings have fallen from a stratospheric 83 per cent to a more modest - although still impressive - 68 per cent. (Mail Online)

Reviewing their pics, they sure seem to both have the same attitude and strike the same poses. And guess what? Mussolini was a socialist that saw totalitarianism as a necessity "for the good of the people." Two peas. One pod.

The Anchoress
has a run-down on his contradictory BS. Quite a list...and he's been in office how long?

Great experpt from the book, Why I Am a Reagan Conservative at Gay Patriot:

. . . leftists do believe they derive their values from reason. Consequently, they are always getting into a state of hysteria if reason threatens to take them in some direction that they don’t, in their unexamined way, want to go.

This explains one of the characteristic sights of American debate: liberals in a moralistic snit. Liberals are always in a moralistic snit because their standard operating procedure makes no clear distinction between reason and morality. Everything they do and say is suffused by emotion, in an unstable and unpredictable way. Hence “political correctness” and the extraordinary range of American taboos familiar to all working journalists–for example, about race and gender.

This further underscores my question: HOW do you reason with them when they are not operating using reason? The only hope is discussion with those not yet assimilated into the matrix. Once they have been, they're gone and nothing you can say or do will have any effect.

From John Boehner's website come the top 20 facts about the spending bill. Some highlights:

...more than a third of this plan’s spending provisions are dedicated to creating new government programs.

Even though the legislation contains at least 152 separate spending proposals, the authors of the plan can only say that 34 have any chance at keeping or growing jobs.

Almost one-third of the so-called “tax relief” in the House Democrats’ bill is spending in disguise, meaning that true tax relief makes up only 24 percent of the total package – not the 40 percent that President Obama had requested.

They continue to call payments to those not paying taxes "tax cuts" instead of what it is, "welfare."

Some things you're buying:

· $650 million for digital TV coupons.

· $600 million for new cars for the federal government.

· $6 billion for colleges/universities – many which have billion dollar endowments.

· $50 million in funding for the National Endowment of the Arts.

· $44 million for repairs to U.S. Department of Agriculture headquarters.

· $200 million for the National Mall, including $21 million for sod.

People have been gettin a lil' pissed at millions being spend on condoms as part of the...(ahem)..."economic stimulus" package. Nancy Pelosi comes out strong:

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi boldly defended a move to add birth control funding to the new economic "stimulus" package, claiming "contraception will reduce costs to the states and to the federal government."

Pelosi, the mother of 5 children and 6 grandchildren, who once said, "Nothing in my life will ever, ever compare to being a mom," seemed to imply babies are somehow a burden on the treasury. (link)

Oh God help me....

The AP just put out a story about how The Obamessiah has avoided partisan politics.

Is this a complete disconnect from reality, a full blown psychosis or just plain ol propagandistic lying?

From Gateway Pundit:

In his first week as president Barack Obama already banned harsh interrogations, closed Gitmo, passed legislation to fund foreign abortions, pi$$ed off the Vatican, stared down a reporter, pi$$ed off Pakistan, bombed an ally, killed civilians, snarked at GOP leaders and bashed Bush and the AP claims he mostly avoided divisive partisan and ideological stands.

I have never read a truer thing about the MSM and the state of our society today- From American Thinker (via What Bubba Knows): can people make correct decisions regarding what policies and politicians to support if they aren't given correct information? Why would they defend the good if they were lead to believe it was bad and fight the bad if they were lead to believe it was good?
It's much like when the Morpheus character in the movie The Matrix said that no one could be told what the Matrix is, that you have to see it for yourself. Our matrix media (along with academia and the popular culture) has constructed an all-encompassing faux reality that cannot truly be understood unless you step outside of it. For the average person this means, first, being willing to question all his basic suppositions about political and social reality, as these have been shaped by the matrix media. The second requirement is to embark upon a Reality 101 course on the Internet, where the wheat can at least be found amidst the chaff. You see, unlike the movie, our virtual world is in a way more real than the "real" world.
If this sounds dark and conspiratorial, know that it is the former but not the latter. In truth, what is so dangerous about the matrix media isn't so much that they're akin to a cabal of calculating sentient programs but that they cannot think outside the box themselves. They are like an insane man who knows nothing of the world beyond his insane asylum and thus can relate only insanity. You might say they have become one with their mistaken notions. Call it, The Zen of Being Wrong.

I know this to be true. When I was lost in that matrix, my belief in its solidity was air-TIGHT. There was no WAY anyone could convince me otherwise. As Ive said before, there were some people and books that shook the walls a little but it took 9-11 to crack them and begin to live in the world as it is. This is why it is pointless to argue with confirmed Fundamentalist Liberals. You can not reason with the insane. You just can't. Did the zombies stop looking for brains when their victims yelled at them to stop in Dawn of the Dead? No. They didn't. And the reason why is, that they're ZOMBIES.

From Protein Wisdom, where Darleen Click had the steel guts and iron courage to watch the post-election Oprah Winfrey Show:

Actor Forest Whitaker summed it up for Oprah: “The light of the New Age is here.”

Oprah pal Gayle King passed along her agreement with a message that “Not only does he hear us. He feels us. That when I hear Barack Obama, they said, he talks to my soul.”

Whitaker also strangely claimed “we’re not used to seeing” a president and a First Lady who love each other, but the Obamas have signaled “it’s okay to love.”

Love is lovely, doncha think? Maybe I can learn that in a re-education camp down the road sometime here....

Oprah said of Obama: "I personally feel he makes me want to be a better person. I feel that I am a better person and that this country is going to be a better country because of him." (Newsbusters)

Hey! That's just like what Christians say about Jesus!

Its getting to the point where crackheads make more sense than Obamatrons.

From another great article by Charles Winecoff at Big Hollywood:

Personally, I’d always thought America had made great strides with regards to the environment. Air pollution was definitely down. Drivers no longer used freeways as ashtrays or dumpsters. People everywhere now picked up their dog poop under penalty of law. Americans had really evolved, become more conscientious - to forge a distinctly cleaner nation. Unlike certain other, burgeoning Third World countries we know….

Well, apparently not. In the age of Oprahma, it’s chic to feel guilty and beholden to Mother Gaia, especially if you live in the land of plenty. A whole new generation of twentysomethings now wants to “heal the planet” - as if no one had ever conceived of such a thing before. Excuse me, little narcissists, but there were human beings here before you came along - who didn’t drive to work in SUVs the size of tanks. We heard all the dire predictions of gloom and doom before you were even a fetus.

And we’re still here.

Of course, there are plenty of adults who’ve been suckered in by the Green movement too, thanks to Oscar winner Al Gore. First, it was global warming, then “climate change,” now another ice age appears to be in the forecast. It’s wonderfully nostalgic! We all want to recapture our youth, I guess.

But there’s something disconcerting about grown people expressing “concern” when it’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Still, worrying about the weather is certainly a hell of a lot easier than dealing with the fact we’re all sitting ducks for a vast network of Islamic nuts.

Check Dr. Sanity for the psychology of denial. The left can not deal with real and pressing danger. It's too much for them. It makes them feel un-com-fort-able. So they take that real feeling and transfer it to something less real and pressing and make THAT the big bugaboo. Keeps y'all mellow n' stuff. 'Course it'll get us killed, but still....

Guess he wasn't kidding when he repeatedly stated his irritation with The Constitution.

Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler has the, appropriately expletive-filled story here.

Why are they doing it? What is the reason for everything they they do? Its "for the children."

Yesterday, Obama visiting the press corp:

Asked how he could reconcile a strict ban on lobbyists in his administration with a deputy defense secretary nominee who lobbied for Raytheon, Obama interrupted with a knowing smile on his face.

"Ahh, see," he said, "I came down here to visit. See this is what happens. I can't end up visiting with you guys and shaking hands if I'm going to get grilled every time I come down here." (Politico)

Princess is a lil' testy when the serfs dare to question, ain't she? Maybe he's Queen Carlotta's twin?:

I know, I know, any thinking person that pays even cursory attention to the media knows it is indistinguishable from the media arm of the reign of The One. But still, the hatred of Chris Matthews astounds me. Speaking of Sarah Palin's upcoming book:

Matthews said: “If she can read, if she can write, she’ll make some money.”

Matthews repeated his suggestion that Palin could not write the book later in the show. “The question is who actually will write the Palin book,” he said. “The only politician I know who can write is Barack Obama.” (Politico)
Why would anyone watch this guy? Guess that's why his ratings are in the toilet. You would think they would fix the problem at that network. Instead, they keep digging a deeper hole. Kinda fits in with the whole suicide trend of the left. Cultural suicide, military suicide, media suicide. Chope!

President Jackass had some words for those who dare to question His Highness yesterday:

"You can't just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done," he told top GOP leaders, whom he had invited to the White House to discuss his nearly $1 trillion stimulus package....

"There are big things that unify Republicans and Democrats," the official said. "We shouldn't let partisan politics derail what are very important things that need to get done."

Translation: "I am a big thing. You will unite under me and do as your told."

And in case there was any question after being told what we are aloud to listen to and think about,

In an exchange with Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Va.) about the proposal, the president shot back: "I won," according to aides briefed on the meeting.

"I will trump you on that."

Yes, Mein Fuhrer. (quotes from NYPost)

The One further added, "so THERE you big stupid head nong-nong! Nyah!" (just kidding)

From Radio Equalizer:

The timing was no coincidence: after a rocky first week in office, the Obamists are also faced with a resurgent Fox News Channel, where ratings have been climbing since the moment he took office.

Keep an eye out for the reinstatement of the "Fairness Doctrine." Won't be long before they put it in place and kill talk radio and Fox News.

UPDATE: Rush Responds. Brilliant.

There are two things going on here. One prong of the Great Unifier's plan is to isolate elected Republicans from their voters and supporters by making the argument about me and not about his plan. He is hoping that these Republicans will also publicly denounce me and thus marginalize me. And who knows? Are ideological and philosophical ties enough to keep the GOP loyal to their voters? Meanwhile, the effort to foist all blame for this mess on the private sector continues unabated when most of the blame for this current debacle can be laid at the feet of the Congress and a couple of former presidents. And there is a strategic reason for this.

Secondly, here is a combo quote from the meeting:

"If we don't get this done we (the Democrats) could lose seats and I could lose re-election. But we can't let people like Rush Limbaugh stall this. That's how things don't get done in this town."

(People) have documented Obama's ties to the teachings of Saul Alinksy while he was community organizing in Chicago. Here is Rule 13 of Alinksy's Rules for Radicals:

"Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it."

Just amazing. Eric Holder, Obama's attorney general pick, is a senior partner for a law firm that represents 17 Yemeni terrorists being held at Gitmo. That, alone, is enough to make him a traitor to his country in my book. But these days, being a traitor is just "speaking truth to power," and no big deal. God damn America. Who else works for that firm?

David Remes, who peeled down to his underwear at a press conference in Yemen to draw attention to his clients’ plight

Marc Falkoff, who published a book of detainee poetry and who, in the book’s intro, compared their heroic struggle to the Jews held in concentration camps and Japanese Americans held in internment camps during WWII. [One of Falkoff's "gentle, thoughtful" young poets--a Kuwaiti "cleared for release" and repatriated in 2005--blew himself up in a truck bomb in Mosul last March, killing 13 Iraqi army soldiers and wounding 42 others.] (Michelle Malkin)

Jugears McMarxist is the first president in 56 years to skip the Salute to Heroes Inaugural Ball for veterans, ushering in a new trend.

Now the NFL is getting into the game (no pun intended).

They are still ALLOWING the color guard to march before the superbowl. They just can't stay and watch it. They aren't anything special. Just people who will give their life for people watching the game and eatin doritos. That's all.
THE WAR ON TERROR IS OVER! if someone would just tell those sworn to kill us all....

Im trying to think what age it was when I realized that pretending something didn't exist made it go away. I was pretty young I think. Of course later, I convinced myself I was wrong and that evil does not exist. Took 9-11 to start waking me up. Apparantly that was not enough for the left that remains deluded. Dealing with evil is so upsetting! If only they would think about how much more upsetting getting nuked by an ignored terrorist would be.

The story is here at the Washington Post. Everyone celebrate now!

In recent tests designed to assess monkeys' sense of fairness, a group of brown capuchin monkeys "went on strike" and refused to perform routine tasks when they saw others receiving greater rewards for the same tasks. (National Geographic)

Who woulda thought? Could this be a reason that socialism has NEVER worked? I wonder....

Gay Patriot West has noticed something about hate comments sent to the blog he's part of:

By a margin of at least 19-1, those hate comments come from angry leftists calling us “self-hating,” delusional or whatnot, mean-spirited attacks on us, our party, its leaders or gay Republicans in general. To be sure, occasionally, we did get hate comments from anti-gay social conservatives (the 1 (or smaller) in the ratio above).

And that’s what struck me. We get linked far more often by conservative sites (as we did from Instapundit today) than we do by gay (or liberal) ones. And yet we get more hate comments from the left, particularly the gay left, a left which constantly derides Republican and their social conservative allies as “haters.” Indeed, some of them call the GOP the “Party of Hate.”

Kinda int'restin', doncha think?

The piece of racist giving the inaugural invocation told us, again, that white people are evil.
He prayed for the day when, "white will embrace what is right." Because, you know, while people have always been evil and never done anything good.

Now Jugear's economic advisor is talking about where the money they are stealing from everyone should go:

I am concerned, as I’m sure many of you are, that these jobs not simply go to high-skilled people who are already professionals or to white male construction workers. ...I have nothing against white male construction workers. I’m just saying that there are a lot of other people who have needs as well. … Criteria can be set so that the money does go to others, the long term unemployed minorities, women, people who are not necessarily construction workers or high-skilled professionals. (Hot Air).

The best part? They figure "the middle class" will be too busy to notice:

RANGEL: And one thing you can depend on, you don’t have to be worried about what the middle-class is gonna do. Things are so bad. They have to put food on their tables. Clothes for their kids. Get them in school. I think this is a tremendous opportunity for a stronger America. (Michelle Malkin)

Sure is. Crisis! Crisis! Now they can push through what ever they want and you can kiss the constitution and America good bye. Welcome to the USSA. This is The Obamessiah's new "post racial world."

And can you friggin BELIEVE that this guy was invited to...uh..."perform" at the inaugural ball?
Young Jeezy on that golden night:

And I wanna thank the muthaf***er overseas who threw the two shoes at George Bush.
And I want to thank. Listen.
I wanna thank the muthaf***er who helped them move their sh** up.
Out of the White House.
Keep it moving b*tch. (video here)

Dignity of office? What's THAT?!

For the first time in 56 years a president skipped the vets inaugural ball. Bad enough. Then the vets were treated to this:

An inaugural ball honoring U.S. military veterans ended in a kerfluffle as several veterans walked out when a musical act's attempt at humor backfired.

During the Heroes Red, White & Blue Inaugural Ball honoring the nation's veterans, a vocalist with George Clinton and the P. Funk All-Stars held up a white towel with large block letters saying "[Expletive] GEORGE," perturbing many audience members who walked out after the display, interpreting it as a jab at the outgoing commander-in-chief, George W. Bush. (Gateway Pundit)

“As part of a lasting cease-fire, Gaza’s border crossings should be open to allow the flow of aid and commerce, with an appropriate monitoring regime, with the international [community] and Palestinian Authority participating.” (

Yep, just open up your borders and let people sword to destroy you come and go as they please. We all have seen how well an international monitoring "regime" works. What could go wrong?

Does this tell you anything about what kind of foreign policy he'll pursue:

The spokesman for President Abbas revealed that Mr Obama had told the Palestinian leader that their conversation was his first with a foreign statesman since taking office.
Not Israel. Palestine. Where they are sworn to destroy Israel.

We are so screwed.

Matthew 15:14: "Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch."

Isaiah 9:16: "For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed."

(World Net Daily)

Don't forget to cling to your guns as well.

Congresskook Jim McDermott (D-WA) is calling for the government to effectively take over dying liberal newspapers, so that they can be kept alive even if we know better than to read them. (Moonbattery)

Since, you know, the media isn't liberal enought now. Once in a blue moon some reporter deviates from the script. It's important that the government controls all information. That's why the "fairness doctrine" is going to be put back in place. Can't have talk radio and Fox confusing people!

Lessee....where else have we seen state control of the media? Hmmmm.

The crowd is chanting "na na na na, na na na na, hey-ey-ey, goodbye." Matthews, Maddow, and Olbermann refuse to note this. They simply pretend they didn't hear the loud, raucous taunting. Because they're too classy to point this out.

Crowd taunts Bush with catcalls at Andrews Air Force base, to board a plane formerly designated Air Force One. Maddow, Matthews, and Olbermann once again fail to note the behavior of Obama's supporters, preferring instead to find Bush's rebuke in the size and jubilation of the crowd. (Ace of Spades)

In case you're confused, thats not juvenile hatred. It's hope and change. Thought I'd clear that up.

Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler
has some thoughts on this day of evil. I'm too busy throwing up.

Started reading Ann Coulter's new book, Guilty: Liberal "Victims" and Their Assault on America and lemme tell ya, its the best I've read of hers. Airtight. It could get through to a lobotomy patient, I tell ya!

The thing that has made the biggest impression on me so far is what she has to say about what exhaustive, repeated studies have shown to be the root cause of most crime and dysfunction in what's left of our culture.

Poverty? Nope. Race? Nope.

Single motherhood. When every other factor is accounted for that is what is the best predictor of a child's life being lived in hell when an adult. Everything else factored in, black and white crime rates are the same. Its not having a father.

And what is one of the biggest champions of liberal victim hood culture? Single mothers. They are glorified as top victims. It's a coveted title! It has exploded.

As in most things, the supposed caring of liberals brings good feelings to themselves and misery to others.

To prevent hundred of thousands of children from growing up in misery what's needed then?

For women not to have kids if they aren't married.

It's not like babies just "happen." CONDOMS ARE PLENTIFUL. Yes, I know. A lot of men will say it just doesn't feeeel as good with one o' them damn things on his John Thomas. This very slight (and negligible) decrease in momentary pleasure is a good reason to bring a child into a life of misery?

What. The. Hell.

President-elect Obama said recently, "This is a crisis unlike any we have seen in our lifetime." At times, the alarms have been close to hysterical...

we were told it was the biggest one-year job loss since the end of World War II. But that's a fatuous comparison. In 1945, the nation's population was less than half what it is today. So last year's job loss was less than half as painful as that year's.

Right now, the unemployment rate is 7.2 percent.

In the 1981-82 recession, it peaked at 10.8 percent.

In 1974-75, it hit 8.8 percent.

Even if we do nothing in the way of fiscal stimulus, according to the incoming administration's own estimates, unemployment this time will top out at 8.8 percent.

(Chicago Tribune)

So why all the hysteria? Well it sells "news."

But beyond that, what do you think is the best way to transform America into a totalitarian socialist state? Emergency! Emergency!

And we buy it. Yes, I KNOW its getting tight (believe me!), but like the spoiled children that we are, a little bit of pain seems like torture when it disturbs our cribs. Still have cable? Internet? "Crispy" sneaks? Look at the rest of the planet for a second. C'mon. Because of this real, but in perspective, relatively mild bit of temporary pain, we are going to let President Jugears McMarxist and the idiots in congress make it much, much worse for much much longer.

Not to mention little things like trashing the constitution, cracking down on free speech and disarming the citizenry.

Its like shooting heroin to get over a hangover.

From Say Anything:

President-elect Barack Obama is calling on Americans to live up to the courage and sacrifice of the country’s founders as they strive to redeem the promise of freedom. (yahoo news)

Obama needs to crack a history book.

The American revolution was fought against the tyranny of big government. Too many regulations. Too many taxes. Not enough respect for private property and individual liberty. The American government was fought for decentralized government and more local control. That’s what the American revolution was about.

In 1775 this country went to war over taxes and overbearing government. Obama, who wants to raise taxes and raise government spending and expand government power over everything from cow farts to what level you have your thermostat set at, is quite the hypocrite in suggesting that he is a proponent of that revolution.

Of course, he's not the only one that needs to crack a history book. It would be nice if that was done in our education system occasionally. But then what am I thinking? Where would be the time for Self Esteem and Planned Parenthood classes? My bad.

There's a reason civics classes were dropped 20 years ago.

And there's a reason The One said this week that we need a "new declaration of independence"

How patriotic is THAT?!

Oh boy, this is gonna make some haids explode! From Bee Qube
The Dalai Lama, a lifelong champion of non-violence on Saturday candidly stated that terrorism cannot be tackled by applying the principle of ahimsa because the minds of terrorists are closed.

"It is difficult to deal with terrorism through non-violence," the Tibetan spiritual leader said delivering the Madhavrao Scindia Memorial Lecture here.

He also termed terrorism as the worst kind of violence which is not carried by a few mad people but by those who are very brilliant and educated.

"They (terrorists) are very brilliant and educated...but a strong ill feeling is bred in them. Their minds are closed," the Dalai Lama said.

He said that the only way to tackle terrorism is through prevention. The head of the Tibetan government-in-exile left the audience stunned when he said "I love President George W Bush." He went on to add how he and the US President instantly struck a chord in their first meeting unlike politicians who take a while to develop close ties.

From GatewayPundit:

The War on Terror has been an amazing success not only in what has been accomplished but in what it has cost in lives. Two brutal regimes were obliterated, Al-Qaeda was decimated, fledgling democracies were established. But, most importantly, the US was able to do this while sacrificing the fewest number of soldiers monthly than in any other military campaign in US history. In fact, the US today is losing fewer soldiers each month in Iraq and Afghanistan combined than the average number of soldiers lost monthly during the Clinton years (~35 to 78).

Murderer! Not.
Don't look for this to appear in the MSM.

As usual, Dr. Sanity gets it right. It's worth reading the whole thing.

Dave has hit on a very fundamental necessity for being able to remain on the [psycho]path of denial: the Democrats and the left have staked so much--their entire self-concept, in fact--on losing in Iraq and the evil of George Bush and the Republicans, that they cannot be satisfied with merely winning the Presidential election. 'Hope and Change' was just a motto for them, it was the only way they could continue to keep their eyes closed.

You can sense this dissatisfaction in the unseemly giddiness of the the Inaugural hoopla and the 24 hour a day coverage of the Man who would be King. You can see it in the unbelievable excess and inappropriate costs in a time of financial crisis (didn't we just condemn AIG executives for doing something similar?); and you can see it in the unrealisitic, nearly psychotic fantasies that are emerging as The Holy One ascends to the throne of God Presidency of the U.S. The childrens' books are already printed (it's never too soon to indoctrinate the next generation) and the silliness of the comparisons (at least some of us have not forgotten that Barack Obama has accomplished NOTHING of any consequence in his entire career as yet--except get elected to be President)....

ndeed, it is a frenzy. This is not normal excitement or enthusiasm over an inauguration--even a very special or historic one. This is not even normal relief that now things are somehow going to be different. This is emotional excess that disguises a severe, disabling anxiety; an anxiety that has been tenously held in check by the psychological denial that came before. It is as if the bizarre national depression the media have been hyping for the last eight years suddenly flipped into a full-blown mania--with all the euphoria, grandiose ideas and plans, delusions of grandeur, wildly impulsive spending, irritability and inappropriateness one sees in an acute manic episode.

Mason school officials said they are taking a proactive educational approach in advance of next week's planned Inauguration Day activities.

"Inappropriate comments that may make other students, staff or families feel unwelcome or uncomfortable in school or on the bus will not be tolerated," Superintendent Kevin Bright said in an e-mail sent to parents Monday, Jan. 12....

Jeff Schlaeger, Mason High School's psychologist, said "inappropriate comments" occurred around election week when doctored pictures of Obama appeared at the school, including "derogatory caricatures" of him dressed like a terrorist and signs that read "Obama '08/Biden '09." (Dayton Daily News)

Free speech? That's gotta GO. But you'll still have chope. And unicorns. And sunshine.

This great man said to judge people by the content of their character, not the color of their skin.

We just elected a man based on the color of his skin, not the content of his character.

Of course, having no character, that would be a little difficult, but still......

In case you missed it:

At December's U.N. Global Warming conference in Poznan, Poland, 650 of the world's top climatologists stood up and said man-made global warming is a media generated myth without basis. Said climatologist Dr. David Gee, Chairman of the International Geological Congress, "For how many years must the planet cool before we begin to understand that the planet is not warming?" (MLive)

Barack Obama has only four years to save the world. That is the stark assessment of Nasa scientist and leading climate expert Jim Hansen who last week warned only urgent action by the new president could halt the devastating climate change that now threatens Earth (Guardian).

Lessee....carbon is involved in almost every aspect of our lives. If that needs controlled, every aspect of our lives needs controlled. For our own good, of course. A totalitarian leftist's wet dream!

Can you think of any other explanation?

Remember the outrage at the Patriot Act? Especially the searching of library records? It meant that Bushitler was a fascist! Remember that?

Well, now its ok.

Last Thursday, Barack Obama's nominee for Attorney General, Eric Holder, admitted during his Senate Judiciary Committee confirmation hearing that he supported renewing the part of the Patriot Act that allows for the FBI to seek records from businesses, libraries and bookstores as the policing agency investigates suspects in this country.

Oh and that Guantanamo thing? Horrible! Torture! But now, not so much.

It was all about getting power, not any real moral outrage. Liberals will happily put in you a re-education camp, if that's what it takes to "help" you so that they can control every aspect of your life.

It is likely Barack Obama would not qualify for a national security clearance if he were not elected president due to his anti-American and extremist associates.

Now we know that Barack Obama's nominee for Treasury Secretary, Timothy Geithner, would not qualify for a position at the IRS due to his failure to pay taxes. (Gateway Pundit)

No big deal, right? At IMAO, Harvey wonders, "On January 20th, do you think Obama will “absent-mindedly” scratch his face with his middle finger while reciting the oath of office?"

Freakin' increadible.

When we are subservient to the World Government, as The One has planned.

The UN made it illegal to criticize Islam

adopted — for the fourth straight year — a resolution prepared by the 57-nation Organization of the Islamic Conference calling upon all UN nations to adopt legislation banning the "defamation" of religion. Spurred by the Danish cartoons of 2005, some of which portrayed the Prophet Muhammed in a manner deemed offensive by the OIC, the resolution was opposed by the United States, most European nations, Japan, India and a number of other nations. (Moonbattery)

Forget free speech. You'll be a citizen of the world! Feel good about it!

Awww...screw it! Here's a thought crime for you about Hamas:

That they are not merely cowards, hiding behind infants’ diapers, but rather actually desirous of the death of their own offspring is revealed by their own words of indoctrination, in which they encourage their own children to become martyrs to their evil cause. As further evidence that death is the intent, news stories are offered by them to show the deaths, even when they didn’t necessarily happen. (Pajama's Media)

I feel like such a rebel! Hope they don't catch me and send me to detention camp!

A new, personal Obam-America flag. (forget this)

Redesigned the presidential seal.

Wants to change the constitution (see below).

There's a push to end presidential term limits (see below).

He's working on a personal army (see below).

What's to worry about?
