The left: they love America so much they need to kill it to make it better. Other, less enlightened people such as myself, might say this is a buncha hatin'. Patriotism is love of your country for what it is: a capitalistic democratic institution. The sees nothing but oppression and the need for a socialist revolution.

It is pretty clear that the left is confident that they have sufficiently dumbed down a generation of Americans after their takeover of the public education system. How far and fast it has fallen. Just how ignorant are our kids coming out of leftwing indoctrinated public schools?Twenty years ago, could you ever get away with the statement, what's wrong with socialism? It shows a complete lack of understanding of the brutality of that failed system and more importantly, a callous disregard for who, what and why America is.

More questioning of patriotism here. I know its not nice, but sanity calls for a willingness to see things that aren't always pretty and to deal with them as they are, not as we wish they would be. It may hurt liberals feelings and engender more of their trademark hatred, but you sure aren't doing them or yourself any favors by being an enabler. To truly care you'll be honest.
