Sen. Barack Obama’s campaign is complaining to the Justice Department about the attention being focused on the determined effort by ACORN, Obama’s wholly owned vote-fraud division, to steal the 2008 election. Adding ignorance to gall, the campaign demands that what it calls a “Special Prosecutor” must investigate not ACORN but — you guessed it — the McCain campaign and the Bush administration.

The art form to which chutzpah has been raised in this instance is a letter from the Obama campaign’s top lawyer, Robert Bauer of the Perkins Coie law firm in Washington.

When not scorching the earth to destroy ordinary citizens who have the temerity to ask the messiah blunt questions, or threatening political opponents with prosecution for campaigning against him, or promising war crimes investigations against the opposition party if Americans are daft enough to put his toadies in charge of the Justice Department, Obama comrades can be found editing the amendments to the last modification of their most recently restated campaign-finance reporting errors.

One day the candidate is taking money hand over fist from fictitious supporters like “Good Will” and “Doodad Pro.” The next day, he is illegally raising funds from foreigners (perhaps more than a staggering $63 million), including from Palestinians — who figure a candidate who pours tens of thousands of dollars into the coffers of a terror-supporting former PLO spokesman like Rashid Khalidi is a safe bet to make a prophet out of Jesse Jackson. On still other days, Obama finds himself having to explain his campaign’s misrepresentation of the $800,000 payday it gave his old pals at ACORN.

It's incredible that so many will vote for their own oppression. But then again, maybe people don't care about the constitution as long as they have their gaming, porn and Cheetos.

(Sunday, October 19 - Filed by Mark Williams in Raton, New Mexico with the Stop Obama Tour) We learned at this morning’s Stop Obama Rally here that the McCain/Palin Straight Talk Express came through town yesterday. It arrived with a window shattered by a .22 caliber weapon. It had also been hit by an unknown number of paint balls from a paint ball gun or guns. There were reportedly no injuries and neither candidate was on board.

One local man who saw the damage and spoke with the McCain/Palin staffers said the attack(s) had occured in southern New Mexico that same day. The Express is traveling the country independent of the candidates, handing out campaign materials.

Because they're all about love.

Why, he asked, would the press whack Joe the Plumber when it didn't want to report on Obama's relationship with William Ayers, the former Weather Underground bomber? "How come that's not in the news all the time?" Munoz said. "How come Joe the Plumber is every second? I'm talking about NBC, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, and CNN." A black woman with a strong Caribbean accent jumped in the fray. "Tell me," she said to Corn, "why is it you can go and find out about Joe the Plumber's tax lien and when he divorced his wife and you can't tell me when Barack Obama met with William Ayers? Why? Why could you not tell us that? Joe the Plumber is me!"

"I am Joe the Plumber!" Munoz chimed in. "You're attacking me."

Connie was probably smart not to give her last name. You never know what's going to happen to those who dare to criticize The One.

OMG! THIS WOMAN IS RACIST!

I met an Obama supporter yesterday and he asked me why I supported McCain. I told him that I was concerned with the continuation of free speech, and that a pattern of alliances, not just associations with a host of people who openly declare their hatred for this country disqualifies him. He didn't respond to that. He said, "I just ask because I have heard a co-worker or two say they wouldn't vote for him because he's black." It's automatically assumed the only reason to not vote for The One is racism. The campaign and the media have been falling all over themselves to call any criticism of Obama's past or words or policies "racist." The examples are legion and are beyond absurd- but they've done the work of intimidating people into silence. I've had enough, and so, apparently has Rosetta:

Thanks to the MSM and the entirety of the democratic party including the Obama campaign, racism and its racist practitioners have now and forever been redefined. If you think its bad that the MSM is the media arm of the Obama campaign, what do you think it will do to our democracy when its the media arm of an Obama presidency? Americans wrongly believe that this sort of thing can’t happen here. Watching European nations stumble, one-by-one into cultural annihilation–Sarkozy says that Arabic is the French “language of the future”–it is pure hubris to think America is immune to the softness inbred by post-modern, relativistic, nihilistic, anti-Christian, politically correct thought.

When Huckebee asked him last night how he felt about having his personal life dug up and smeared in the media, he said:

"It actually upsets me," Mr. Wurzelbacher said. "I am a plumber, and just a plumber, and here Barack Obama or John McCain, I mean these guys are going to deal with some serious issues coming up shortly. The media's worried about whether I paid my taxes, they're worried about any number of silly things that have nothing to do with America. They really don't. I asked a question. But apparently the copious examples of the left in general and Obama in particular working to suppress free speech is not a concern for many. Biden is outraged that Sarah Palin said that some parts of the country are more patriotic than others. He said,

LET'S TALK ABOUT DRINKIN' BEER, M'KAY?

comes to $100.

If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something
like this The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing.

The fifth would pay $1.

The sixth would pay $3.

The seventh would pay $7.

The eighth would pay $12.

The ninth would pay $18.

The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59.

So, that's what they decided to do. The ten men drank in the bar every
day and seemed quite happy with the arrangement, until one day, the
owner threw them a curve. 'Since you are all such good customers,' he

McCain has finally come right out and said the truth! From Yahoonews (of course with a left wing slant in the rest of the article):

"At least in Europe, the Socialist leaders who so admire my opponent are upfront about their objectives," McCain said in a radio address. "They use real numbers and honest language. And we should demand equal candor from Sen. Obama. Raising taxes on some in order to give checks to others is not a tax cut; it's just another government giveaway."

Obama has said his tax policies would cut payments for 95 percent of working Americans, while increasing them only for families making more than $250,000 a year. McCain has argued that 40 percent of Americans don't pay income taxes, either because they are seniors or don't meet minimum earnings thresholds, so the only way to cut their taxes is to give them various credits.

"In other words, Barack Obama's tax plan would convert the IRS into a giant welfare agency, redistributing massive amounts of wealth at the direction of politicians in Washington," McCain said in the radio address.

I’d like to say something….Just to get it out there so it is clear.
To all the pampered and protected Americans who feel it is their duty to inform me that I am not fighting for their freedom, and that i am a pawn in Bush’s agenda of greed and oil acquisition: Noted, and [expletive deleted] You.

I am not a robot. i am not blind or ignorant to the state of the world or the implications of the “war on terrorism.” i know that our leaders have made mistakes in the handling of a very sensitive situation, but do not for one second think that you can make me lose faith in what we, meaning America’s sons, daughters, fathers, and mothers in uniform are doing.
I am doing my part in fighting a very real enemy of the United States, i.e. Taliban, Al Qaida, and various other radical sects of Islam that have declared war on our way of life. Unless you believe the events of 9/11 were the result of a government conspiracy, which by the way would make you a MORON, there is no reasonable argument you can make against there being a true and dangerous threat that needs to be dealt with. i don’t care if there are corporations leaching off the war effort to make money, and i don’t care if you don’t think our freedom within America’s borders is actually at stake. i just want to kill those who would harm my family and friends. it is that simple. Even if this is just a war for profit or to assert America’s power, so what? Someone has to be on top and I want it to be us. There’s nothing wrong with wishing prosperity for your side.

I am a proud American. i believe that my country allows me to live my life more or less however i want to, and believe me, i have seen what the alternative of that looks like. i also believe that our big scary government does way more than it has to to help complete [expletive deleted]-ups get back on their feet, a stark comparison to places where leaders just line their own pockets with gold while allowing the people who gave them their power and privilage to starve. I have chosen my corner. I back my country, and am proud to defend it against aggressors. Also, if you dare accuse us of being inhumane, or overly aggressive because we have rolled into someone else’s country and blown some [expletive deleted] up and shot some people, let me remind you of just how inhumane we COULD be in defending ourselves. Let me remind you that we have a warhead that drops multiple bomblets from the stratosphere which upon impact, would turn all the sand in Iraq to glass, and reduce every living thing there to dust. Do we use it? No. Instead we use the most humane weapon ever devised: the American soldier. We send our bravest (and perhaps admitably craziest) men and women into enemy territory, into harms way, to root out those whom we are after and do our best to leave innocent lives unscathed.

…One last thing…a proposal. i know it has been stated time and time again but i just think it is worthy of reiteration. If you find yourself completely disgusted with the way America is being ran, and how we handle things on the global stage, you can leave. Isn’t that amazing? No one will stop you! If you are an anarchist, there are places you can go where there is no government to tell you anything. That’s right…you are left solely to your own devices and you can handle the men who show up at your door with AKs in any way that you see fit. Just don’t try good old American debate tactics on them because you will most likely end up bound and blind-folded, to have your head chopped off on the internet so your parents can see it. However if you insist on staying here and taking advantage of privilages such as free speach and WIC, keep the counter-productive [expletive deleted] to a minimum while the grown ups figure out how to handle this god-awful mess in the middle east.

He ought not to have done that. ARLINGTON, VA -- Today, McCain-Palin 2008 Spokesman Ben Porritt issued the following statement in response to the Obama campaign's letter to Attorney General Michael Mukasey:

"After a week of shifting stories and clumsy corrections regarding Barack Obama's connections to ACORN, the Obama campaign resorted to their now-customary heavy handed tactic of attempting to criminalize political discourse. Today's outrageous letter to Attorney General Mukasey and Special Prosecutor Dannehy at the Justice Department asking for a special prosecutor to investigate Senator McCain and Governor Palin's public statements about ACORN's record of fraudulent voter registrations (including in this week's Presidential debate) is absurd. It is a typical time-worn Washington attempt to criminalize political differences. For someone who promises 'change,' it is certainly only more of the same.

"The letter's request that the Department of Justice investigate 'recent partisan Republican activities throughout the country' is almost a parody of the Obama campaign's attempt to intimidate their political opponents. In case Sen. Obama's lawyer did not notice, we are in the midst of a political campaign, not a coronation, and the alleged criminal activity he calls 'recent partisan Republican activities' are what the rest of us call campaign speeches and debates. All of this is unfortunately reminiscent of the Obama campaign's recent creation of a 'truth squad' of Missouri prosecutors and sheriffs to 'target' people who criticize Sen. Obama. Rest assured that, despite these threats, the McCain-Palin campaign will continue to address the serious issue of voter registration fraud by ACORN and other partisan groups, and compliance by states with the Help America Vote Act's requirement of matching new voter registrations with state data bases to prevent voter fraud."

If this thug is elected you can kiss the remains of free speech goodbye. And it's not just legal thuggery. A woman was recently brutally beaten for holding a McCain sign and a driver had their life threatened because they had an anti-Obama sticker on his car. Does the MSM report this? No. They are too busy lying about a single person saying "kill him" at a McCain rally.

GODDAMN AMERICA, IT'S THE DAWNIN' OF A BRAND NEW DAY!

Senator Government has been busy. The man that sees himself as a "citizen of the world" above and beyond a mere American told a rally that:

Well, of course. The goal is one world government. We will take our orders from the UN if he's elected- and we know how effective and fair that organization is. Screw America. Mr. Now-I-wear-a-flag-pin showed how important the country his wife has never been proud of is to him at his last rally:

Bencal, who sings the anthem for a number of school events and is actively involved in local community theatre, had been contacted by the Obama campaign to sing the anthem. He agreed to do so, then was told later in the evening the anthem had been scratched from the program. Bencal said he was told by the campaign the decision was a simple programming change to make room for another speaker.

"I guess it just wasn't meant to be," Bencal said.

With Obama up in the polls, Farrakhan, the racist anti-semitic leader of the Nation of Islam is excited. He recently called Obama "The Messiah," and the other day said that now is "a new beginning" for his organization. Jesse Jackson is excited too that we'll quit supporting Israel. He said:

the influence of the "Zionists who have controlled America's policy for decades" would end if Obama becomes U.S. president...and that the most important change would occur in the Middle East, where "decades of putting Israel's interests first" would end.

So he's endorsed by a race huckster,racists, anti-semitic hate mongers and now the American Communist Party (the first candidate they have ever endorsed...think about that).
He has a pattern of alliances with racists, terrorists, crooks and an organization under investigation in 16 states for voter fraud. But off course, all this is a "distraction" from the message of "hope." Alliances and character are not the point. The point is "change" Change to being more like Europe. Their societies are just flourishing, arent they?

WHAT USED TO BE EDUCATION IN AMERICA

Obama was so eloquent when he was going on about it. He served as chair of William Ayer's Chicago Annenberg Challenge where he distributed money, not for education but for the indoctrination of children into his radical, America hating agenda. FromThe Wall Street Journal:

Mr. Ayers wrote that teachers should be community organizers dedicated to provoking resistance to American racism and oppression...

CAC translated Mr. Ayers's radicalism into practice. Instead of funding schools directly, it required schools to affiliate with "external partners," which actually got the money. Proposals from groups focused on math/science achievement were turned down. Instead CAC disbursed money through various far-left community organizers, such as the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (or Acorn)....

Mr. Ayers is the founder of the "small schools" movement (heavily funded by CAC), in which individual schools built around specific political themes push students to "confront issues of inequity, war, and violence." He believes teacher education programs should serve as "sites of resistance" to an oppressive system. (His teacher-training programs were also CAC funded.) The point, says Mr. Ayers in his "Teaching Toward Freedom," is to "teach against oppression," against America's history of evil and racism, thereby forcing social transformation.

JOE THE PLUMBER, MEET THE OBAMA THUGOCRACY!

Joe the Plumber is now being punished for daring to question The Obamessiah. Wonder what an Obama presidency will look like? He already has a pattern of crushing disent, sending his followers to jam phone lines, lawsuits, etc. If he gets in office with a democratic congress, he'll bring back the orwellian named "Fairness Docrine" and it'll be bye bye talk radio. Wurzelbacher registered as an apprentice with the Ohio State Apprenticeship Council in November 2003, according to Dennis Evans, spokesman with the Department of Job and Family Services. Records show his training, which was sponsored by A & W Newell Co. of Toledo, should have been wrapped last year.

“We don’t have a record of completion,” Evans said. “All we know is that he registered in the program and has gone through to the point where we should have record of completion, but we don’t.”

And that’s not the only record that’s missing from Wurzelbacher’s file. He doesn’t have a plumbing license required by the city of Toledo to practice, according to a staffer with the Toledo Division of Building Inspection. Wurzelbacher, who now works for Newell Plumbing & Heating Co., said the owner, Al Newell, has a plumbing license and that “because he works for someone else, he doesn’t need a license.”

But even that’s not true, according to the Toledo Division of Building Inspection. Wurzelbacher can’t legally do plumbing work without a license, regardless of his boss’s certification.

A staff person with the Toledo Division of Building Inspection told On Call this afternoon that her division will contact Wurzelbacher to notify him that he can’t work without a license.

“We’re trying to track him down,” she said.

Also revealed: His boss’s business probably doesn’t bring in anywhere near $250,000 a year so he should stop dreaming about turning it into one that does and what that might mean for his taxes. Which should be easy enough; he’ll probably be out of work soon anyway. Should have known better than to ask a media darling a tough question before your affairs were in order, Joe. Exit question: The law’s the law and it is, after all, his own fault for not having the papers he needs. If, say, an illegal alien had asked McCain a tough question and some righty media source responded by bringing his status to light, would the left feel the same way?

Who wants somebody like that?

Obama is complaining that Fox shows him and his base as they really are! Those bastards! How dare they pull back the curtain from the Mighty Oz! It's this kind of crap that will come to an end when he brings the glorious revolution to fruition!

Well, whatever. Don’t worry, Obama. Once you’re president you can “disappear” Fox News. Then the next openly socialist Democrat presidential candidate won’t have to suffer from such bias and will have a full 100% of the media in his or her pocket. Not just 98%. A full 100%.

THIS JUST IN: EXPOSING VOTER FRAUD IS VOTER SUPRESSION!

She had said there wasn't time to check and here she had been sitting on these. What was the margin that Bush won the state by in the last election? 190,000 or so. Now granted, not all those suspect ballots are from people registering under different identities, but still, we're talking about just Ohio! They're under investigation in 16 states!

Obama last night made light of ACORN and said his involvement was minimal. Au contraire. Being a trainer for the folks that have made a business of voter fraud isn't minimal, for starters. And then there's that 800,000 his campaign gave them.

I lost my apatite for breakfast this morning watching a smug, smirking (God, what is with all the smirking ?) representative of his campaign say that all this criticism is the right's attempt at "voter suppression." Who is going to be "suppressed?" Certainly no one that has legitimately registered. They are upset because the ineligible and the fraudulent might not vote. They have rights too, dammit!

What a fabulous performance by the smirking huckster! I especially liked his snorts and smirks at the mention of "Joe the plumber." To have to descend to the level of having to speak about one 'o them there "clinging to their guns and religion" rubes musta really been amusing for him.

I think in these debates the attitude of the candidates plays a big part with the public. Obama's? Smug and smirking. McCain's? Ernest and sincere.

I was gratified that McCain hit him with his redistribution of wealth plans. Good God, every time Obama opened his thievin' Marxist mouth he was goin on about what we need to spend more money for. Beautiful that McCain called him "Senator Government," Freudian slip though it was. He nailed him too by saying how Obama thinks he is the one to decide what you should do with the money you earn, instead of allowing you to make that decision yourself. As Dr. Helen so aptly puts it:

And what a huge sense of relief to hear him say, "I'm NOT president Bush. If you wanted to run against him you should have done it 4 years ago." From the look on Obama's face, that really pissed off his majesty!

Big missed opportunity on Ayers. Obama evidently had his xanex tonight because he made it all no big deal. He's got McCain's number on that one. He knows McCain is loath to get into questions of his character, being all Mr. Fair and Kind. McCain should have hammered him on Obama's pattern of alliances, not just Ayers, but he won't attack Wright because he's black and he's afraid of being called racist. That's why the Obama campaigns use of that word to describe any criticism is so effective. Everyone is afraid to be called racist and every white person in the last two generations has been taught that they might be racist and not know it. I remember that so well all through school, it was a very important point made by my left wing indoctrinaters. Now, I just don't friggin' care anymore. I know myself well, I have nothing to prove and I won't be held hostage by a bunch of phoney race-hustlin' scumbags. Go on and hate my ass!

The talking heads on Fox were pretty unanimous that Obama won. The blogs I checked differed. Seems to me that McCain "won" but guess time will tell.

Obama said, "The only involvement I've had with ACORN is, I represented them alongside the US justice department in making Illinois implement a motor voter law that helped people get registered at DMVs.” Total LIE. Redstate has it.

He said he didn't launch his campaign in Ayers living room. The evidence is so plentiful that he did I don't even know where to start linking. Just poke around a little bit. That's all.

The "kill him" comment at the McCain rally. First of all- please- outrage from the people that have made unhinged hatred and calls for murder de rigeuer. But the truth is, it was yelled when McCain referenced Ayers, not Obama. Patterico has it. Even the liberal media. About those "tax cuts" for the 95% of the population. Lil' prob there. More than a third don't pay any taxes. Obama will send them checks. He calls it "refundables." Of course everyone else calls it welfare. Why the hell McCain never has nailed him on this is anyone's guess. The documentation is all over the damn place.

I read a post a week ago that spoke to the character of the American people at large, and said that that will come through and McCain will win. I pray to God it does, because if not, with a far far left congress and a man that has made a career of being allied with terrorists, Marxists, thieves and those that hate this nation becoming its president- folks, its over.

That's John McCain's problem. Traditionally, when an unknown politician emerges on the national scene, it's a race to define him. Governor Palin is a good example: within days, the coastal sophisticates were mocking her as a chillbilly ditz with a womb that spits out inbred kids faster than the First National Bank of Welfare Swamp issues subprime mortgages. That's politics as usual: Define your opponent. But Obama is defined by his indefinability. When I pointed out to my Vermont gals that he lives in a swank pad that was part of some shady real estate deal with a convicted fraudster (Tony Rezko), that he entrusted his daughters' entire religious education to a neo-segregationist anti-American nut who preaches that the government created the AIDS virus to kill black people (Jeremiah Wright), that he attended fundraisers with a political patron who's an unrepentant terrorist proud of plotting to blow up young ladies just like them at a dance at the Fort Dix military base (William Ayers), when I pointed all this out, they looked at me as if I'd brought a baseball bat to a croquet match. Mere earthbound politicians are defined by their real estate deals and sleazy buddies, but Obama is defined only by his vibe. As his many admirers in France would say, he has a certain je ne sais quoi. And, if you try to pin down quoi precisely, then they don't want to sais.

Besides, said one of the cuties, it's racist to try to link him to unsavory white men (Ayers). And black men (Wright). And Arabs (Rezko). And, just to be on the safe side, any dodgy Uzbeks or Papuans who might have been lurking around the greater Chicago area for the last quarter century. The ladies weren't exactly covering their eyes and going, "Neee-neeee-na-na, can't hear you," but the other cutie did begin waving at me her Obama sticker — the one with the giant blue-frosted O embedded in a manicured candy-striped upland — like the villain in the movie trying to hypnotize you with his pocketwatch. I began frantically looking around in hopes that a passing Hare Krishna or Scientologist type could get me out of there. But, no: Gaze into the giant zero of the Obama logo, the hole in the star-spangled donut, the vast fathomless nullity that is the gaping keyhole to the door of utopia. To a sad shriveled Republican cynic, there's nothing there but the wide open spaces of Obama's blank resume. But a believer will see therein the healing of the planet and the receding of the oceans. The black hole of Obama will suck you in through the awesome power of its totally cool suckiness.

It's interesting that in his book, Obama talks about "being a blank screen" for people to project onto. Even funnier is that his symbol is a zero, the center is a big bunch of nothingness. This brilliant, albeit evil, strategy is the way other totalitarians have come to power before him. Be a religious savior figure spouting vague feel-good slogans. Be The One to take on people's "hopes" for "change". With the destruction of ANYTHING solid to believe in, so well accomplished by the media and what used to be an education system, people are dying for a religion, something larger than themselves. Christianity, shared western culture and love of country, they've been taught, are EVIL (even though they've ALSO been taught that there's no such thing as good and evil....figure THAT one out!). Add to that the chance to purge the inculcated white-guilt so many drag around with them and you got yerself a bonifide Messiah! Creepy. As. Hell.

IT'S THE BUZZ THEY'RE AFTER

I saw an extremely interesting show on body language, intonation and other non-verbal forms of communication on the tube last night. The show's experts remarked that Obama speaks in rhythm, much like charismatic preachers. The sound and the beat of his voice draws you in and you begin to feel one with him. Same thing used to happen to me on the dance floor with the beat years ago. "We're all on the beat. we're all one." It could even feel "spiritual." Kinda lost interest after a couple years though, when I started to realize it had no focus in any reality. Unless, of course, you count, "we are one, wasted out of our minds," as reality. It was nothing but emotional circuits getting stroked. Obama does the same thing. He pushes their neuro-chemical buttons to take his listeners on an emotional high. The point was made in the program that many people can't remember much at all about what he said, after a rally, but that they really really liked him and believed in him. This explains why he so rarely DOES say anything beyond vague hopey-changiness. The words and ideas aren't what matter. What matters is his getting you high- its an EMOTIONAL connection, not rational. Tailor made for the the irrational, narcissitic, emotion-is-all left. Brilliant. It really is. You don't have to say anthing as long as you keep that buzz going. Then after the election, you can pull the pretty pink cotton candy cover off and show em what you just sold them.

McCain, on the other hand, has none of that. His style is just plain words. The focus is not on a buzz or fireworks, its on what he is actually saying. Imagine that! He's not interested in being an entertaining drug, he's interested in communicating ideas. He strives for sincerity and strives to be genuine. Boring, huh? Where's my buzz? Damn! Life is just about getting off, isn't it?

Sure gives a better understanding of The Messiah's cultists, but now I'm even more creeped out knowing how many people are drugged out Zobambies voting for the better buzz, oblivious and uncaring of any reason or logic. To them, emotion IS logic- if it feeeeels good, it IS good. End of story. Well so does smack.

However he may seek to deny it, all evidence points to the fact that, from his position as board chair of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, Barack Obama knowingly and persistently funded an educational project that shared the extremist and anti-American philosophy of Jeremiah Wright.

John McCain said no one "needs to be afraid" of Obama and sites like Right Wing Nuthouse similarly go overboard with the fair-minded benefit of the doubt thing. Sure there's a very slight chance that they're right and Obama was just cynically using the people he consistently allied himself with to gain political power, pretending to agree with their marxist, anti-american views as he helped spread them. But what if that's NOT the case? Imagine someone who believes this country is evil holding the reigns of all that power. Someone who believes that the destruction of our system is for the greater good. Sure would be some "change," huh? Goddamn America, far from being an isolated "soundbite" from a racist preacher that calls his country "Amerikkka," it increasingly appears to be the guiding "light" of Obama himself.
