NUTS ON THE RIGHT

Shear lunacy maybe the hallmark of the left, what with it's absolute denial of reality and it's pathological coping mechanisms used to avoid what ever makes them feel uncomfortable, challenges their religion or just generally woojes their feel-good buzz.

But we have lunacy in small quarters on the right as well. For instance the birthers.

It's no different with the 9-11 truthers. Its nutty conspiracy theories of actions beyond our reach to change, and being such, adherence to these conspiracies absolves one from action. Hence their attraction. One can feel smart and "in the know" about something beyond reach of action. you can just sit there and bask in your piercing insight. Sad, really.....

You don't have to do anything and can puff yourself up with having gained inside knowledge due to your enormous brain.

I got some news. We have REAL problems that can be solved: the "fundamental transformation of America" into a socialist state and the disregard of the Constitution for starters.

Can we start ignoring this crap now and stop helping the opposition?
