THE ANTI-CHRISTIAN TEACHING OF "THE STATE CHURCH OF FUNDAMENTALIST LEFTISM"

I have been re-connecting, in conversation, and being friendly with someone who was once very close to me. We parted ways, bad behavior on both sides, and have been out of touch. While talking, he mentioned that corrupt politicians of every party needed to be nailed. I told him that that was one of the reasons I liked Sarah Palin. And THEN the PDS started....my GOD. He went on and on and his objections didn't make sense (eg. "she's stupid"), until finally it came out: she is a Christian. I asked him what was wrong with that? His response?
"Christianity is a bullshit religion."

This isn't the first time I've seen this. There is a very, very large part of the well-educated, sophisticated left whose animosity towards the right comes from this idea. It is a pervasive HATRED of Christianity itself. Of course, Islam deserves respect, Buddhism is cool, but Christians? If they aren't in a leftist church that merely wears the clothing of Christianity like camoflage for their socialism, they are hated and attacked. They are oppressing gay people! But of course muslims torturing and killing them doesn't deserve mention. They are terrorists because of one of two nutjobs shooting abortionists in a decade. But of course muslims fascists bombing and killing people all over the world DAILY doesn't deserve a mention.

No, the problem is them eeeeevil Christians! Well, they won't be running with their murderous intent in DC this Christmas, anyway:

Arizona was chosen this year to present 4,000 handcrafted ornaments made by elementary, middle-school, and high-school students to decorate Washington, D.C.'s annual Christmas tree.

Guidelines for the ornaments include specifications for their size, weight, composition, and the directive that "Ornaments cannot reflect a religious or political theme… Instead share your interpretation of our theme 'Arizona's Gift, from the Grand Canyon State.'"

In a letter to federal and state officials, including Arizona Governor Janice Brewer, ADF attorneys demanded that they abandon the discrimination against religious viewpoints.

"Banning Christmas from the Capitol Christmas tree is just absurd. Christian students shouldn't be discriminated against for expressing their religious beliefs," said ADF Litigation Staff Counsel Jonathan Scruggs.

"The First Amendment does not allow government officials to exclude schoolchildren's ornaments for the capitol's Christmas tree merely because they communicate a religious viewpoint." (Gateway Pundit)

What? You would think it reads "freedoms OF religion" instead of "freedom FROM religion" or sumthin'! ....oh wait, it does. My bad.

Mr Eagle,

“Hey…I’m proud of the greatest nation on earth… I love my country”….

I’m sending this greeting and invitation to my fellow American’s, (and others) who blog and whose blogs that I read “daily” since I got going on this with you all... to give a listen to my post “Viva America-Tribute to our Military”.

It’s for both our troops around the world protecting and creating democracy, and also for those of us who are also trying to preserve “the same” (including our own here at home)… in any way that we can. America “IS” a beautiful place, friends, folks…

We can love it, we can hate it. But there’s no denying all of the very and historically, “real change” that this great nation has either brought upon, delivered, created, or set an example of… to the world. No denying.

We’re in some rough and uncharted waters folks. Times are (always) changing…and I think that’s good. But all of you and the multitudes of others, are very much aware of what’s right and what’s wrong, and know that “civilization”, freedom, (liberties come with freedom), democracy, dignity, and ethical moral conduct, are the only things that will preserve freedom, challenge oppression, and offer peace to this ever changing world.

At the very least, I hope you might hum the chorus while you keep up the gallant and good fight to what is going on in our beloved city…America (The beautiful)

Pass it on
